Amen. A lot of the fall/winter fashion lines are about wicked and dark lips. Cult of Cherry is so spot on!

Yes, because three individual shadows (if you could even buy them that way) would cost you $43.50 anyway. The quad is a bargain even if you don't have any use for 1 shade.

Winthrop-You should come shopping with me and my sister. She does the same exact thing you do. I'll be thinking "Oh I don't need that pallette b/c I don't like the lipgloss". Then, she'll bust out her calculator to tell me how much I'm actually SAVING by purchasing it because I'm not having to buy all the other colors in it separately. My husband has banned me from shopping with her.

His ban mostly started because of her "cost per wear" stance she takes when we go shopping for clothes. If I see a shirt I love but freak at the $500 price tag, she busts out the calculator again and estimates how many uses I'll get out of it b/c of the quality vs a cheaper shirt that would fall apart. She then ends of with a "cost per wear" dollar figure for the expensive shirt that is less then the "cost per wear" dollar figure for the cheaper item b/c the expensive shirt lasted longer. More "wears" drives the dollar figure down. She is hilarious!

this will be my major haul collection in 2008. love love love dark lips and i wont be ashamed, if i get all the lippies, glosses and mattenes.

i love the swatch of so scarlet and bing and i want to see swatches for all the others soon.

Shadowy Lady quad - beautiful! Smudged Violet is more neutral and less brown version of Satin Taupe, Lightfall is nothing unique but goes well w/ the quad, similar to Next to Nothing e/s from Smoking quad

Spiced Chocolate quad - very warm but wearable, Sweet Chestnut is not chestnut at all, it is like Artifact p/p, redder and deeper than Cranberry but still a berry shade not a red, Brash is a more orangey Amber Lights and Honey Lust, more coppery compared to Firespot, less brown (or gold) compared to Mythology, Spiced Chocolate is cooler compared to the SW and Brash, it is still a brown on the warm side, warmer version of Showstopper (which can get too grey-ish at times)
