Am i crazy for wanting 2 of each quad? I figure one of each for my collection and one to depot and use. So expensive though!

And does anyone else think so scarlet has the potential to be the next "IT" red like queens sin and port red?

I was thinking the same thing. Scarlet looks like such a wearable red.

Ya know, it's got to be special cause I really love it and am tempted to get it, even though I NEVER wear reds. Looks so pretty and perfect for fall though!

I bet you could wear it. Just a sheer application instead of a thick application, like a stain. It would look amazing as a stain with neutral cheeks and eyes.

Smudged Violet looks gorgeous.. and all the other quad swatches. Maybe I'll pick up the spiced chocolate if and when I figure out how to apply e/s for my eyes =T

I love all of the lipsticks and lipglosses I have seen! I usually pass over most of them when a collection comes out, but I think I'll be bringing home at least a couple.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If I apply with a lip brush and over lip balm, I am hoping it will be ok. I have enough B2M emtpies for it, so it won't be money lost if it doesn't work out. I hope it does though!!

By the way, Greg Arlt (head artistic director of mac) was gushing over this collection yesterday when I spoke to him after the master class. When I asked him what we have to look forward to it was the first thing he said. He said it is so on point with fall trends and that the quads are amazing.

I was kind of disappointed with the 2 Mattenes that I received from this collection(bing & chockful) I never had a mattene before & these seemed SO dark & I was not loving the texture of them. Today I decided to try a light swipe over my tendertones & ta-dah!!! Lip Magic! Now I love the colors & am so happy I bought them

You are SO not alone! I see fabulous new swatches of things, shove my laptop in the boy's face and go, "LOOOOOOOOOOOK! IT IS SO PRETTY! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

It's especially bad with this one because he doesn't like really dark lipcolours (mwahahahaha). He approves of the Manish Arora stuff, though - it got an "ooh!" out of him!!!

And then, of course, there was my squealing at reading about more BPBs with Red She Said - I LOVE THOSE THINGS. I love that I can use a normal blush brush with them and still not look like I'm a little kid playing in mommy's makeup! Not to say I couldn't pack them on for that effect, though.

GAAAAHHH!

I think there should be a discount for those who buy an entire collection.
