I LOVE Nanogold! It's pretty much the perfect highlighter on my lighter than NW15 skin. The payoff isn't great but I actually like that about it, seeing as I only use it on my browbone. I prefer the texture to Shroom because Nanogold is more matte, with a subtle shimmery pink duochrome. Because Shroom is more shimmery, I find it can look a bit oily if you heap on too much.

I don't feel like the two can be compared. The colors are way different on me. Nanogold is not matte on me at all???? It is shiny on me and comes off quite pinkish/gold. It's like a nappy version of naked lunch. Also, the texture of mine has turned so nasty. It's the only one of my shadows that has turned into a big chalky mess with a weird sheen on the top of it. Others have, just not as bad as this particular one.

Yeah it's shiny, but it's matte with tiny sparkles in it instead just plain shimmer. I compared it to Shroom because it's my other browbone highlighter and they can be used for the same things (though Shroom is darker and not at all pink). Anyway I think Nanogold is fabulous and it sold out really quickly in Australia.

Sorry, didn't mean to dis your love of the nano. I just don't like it.

I hope you don't think I was being rude. I just have a severe distaste for nano and a major love for shrooms. oops! I meant shroom.

You are right, it does have less sparkle, it just looks odd on my lids.

I think I'm just a very passionate defender of nano, lol. I'm starting to get into shroom, maybe I'll get to love it as much with time.

So I was able to preview the entire collection today and I have to say that the colors are pretty out there.

I WAS going to put the colors on the swatch thread BUT I forgot my camera, and I had to go somewhere afterwards. I didn't want to look like a freak with all those swatches on my hand and forearm. I'm so sorry!

As a makeup to this, I'll put in my two cents on the collection.

Tempting quad still pisses me off to death, Sharp is just too out of place for this collection. My MA was laughing at me, she kept saying, "That quad seems to piss you off." hahahahahha HELL YES it does.

You all have to check out the lipsticks, I swear I think I was more excited with the ls than the quads.

I grabbed Creme Cerise, Lightly Ripe, and So Scarlet. I have O and I thought Russian Red was too red for my skin tone (NC35/40).

Creme Cerise is a lovely neutral color, it reminds me of something the N collection would have or even Buoy-O-Buoy ls. So, why buy another neutral? I think that since the colors on the quad are pretty intense, a lighter lip would look great.

Lightly Ripe is a really nice pink neutral color. I just like it for an everyday kind of lip color.

So Scarlet, from what I remember, has a deeper hue than Port Red ls. BTW, So Scarlet looks HOT with Jampacked lipglass. It's HOT. hahaha

Jampacked is a lovely purpleish/plum color. It's HOT, I'm telling you, HOT! hahaha

Cult of Cherry lg reminds me of Love Alert dazzleglass but without the shimmer. I passed on this one and the other lgs from CoC collection except Jampacked.

I grabbed ONE of the four mattenes. Which one?! I effing forgot! hahahaha I'm pretty sure I got Chock-ful. It had this grapey color to it. From what I remember, it was the lightest one out of all of them. Once I know for sure, I'll let you all know! Sorry again!

I also grabbed Plum du Bois, it has a bit of a plumy/brownish tone to it. It's so pretty! I just loveeeee the color.

Blooming was too pink for my liking, it reminded me of Pleasantry or True Romantic or something. It was pretty pink.

The polishes are cute but I have to agree with Krasevayadance, check out the new OPI fall collection. I swear, those polishes are HOT. Yes I Can Can, I'm Fondue of You, and Bastille My Heart are the ones I got. I'm still thinking of Tickle My France-y and You Don't Know Jacques. hahaha...

Is it just me, or does Jampacked seriously look like Pop Mode l/g or Lovechild, or something in between? I own both, so do you think I still need Jampacked? I'm trying to pare down my list, its already way longer than I usually spend

So far my list includes:
tempting quad
ripe and ready l/g
cult of cherry l/g
lightly ripe l/s

I'm on the fence about cherry blossom l/g too, would it just come out clear on medium pigmented lips? I'm so confused, all I know is that I'm dropping major bank come August 21st, because I'm getting a pigmetn or two too

i bought #9 today from this collection.

so now i have all but tickle my france-y, a oui bit of red and bagette me not.

I just looked at swatches of the the Tempting quad on Temtpalia and I love it. I wanted the Spiced Chocolate quad until someone pointed out that it was dupeable.

I'm only getting lips and a blush from the collection. I cannot wait to see Jampacked and Bing on my skin! This collection is SO GORGEOUS!! I'd be all over it even more if I didn't have so many colors I could sub with. OMG it's all about the lips for me!! Wahoo! Can't wait to see swatches from COC parties!

i can't wait for the smokey eyes and dark lips. it screams fall to me.

I must confess that my usual eye is a smokey eye, so the dark lips and nails all at once have me on overload!! I can't can't wait for more swatches!! I'm pretty excited for Plum du Bois as well since I love new blushes and my stash can use a few more
