I love the look of this collection! I can't wait for it to come out in the UK, I'm obsessed with anything with fruits on it!!

I decided to take the plunge and get Kirsch and Bing as soon as I can.

FYI: Cherry Blossom IS a close match to Sugar Trance, but a lil more subtle. As you can see by my swatches, its quite sheer. It probably would go best over a nice pink lipstick.

Thats true. I just swapped away my Dark Edge because I knew that I would be getting the quads. Luckily I had never used mine so I was able to get rid of it quickly

Omgah! I feel so out of the loop. I went through 10 pages trying to keep up haha. I just got back from my mini trip to Sacramento. I hate it when I can't see my specktra for a day. lol
I have an apt on the 30th for the event. Which kinda throws me off b/c isn't this collection out on the 21st? :\ Or does it depend on the counter, store, city?

I think I will be sticking to the lippies. But have no idea which ones. lol

Of all times to just pick one lip thing tho! Deciding b/w gloss or lipstick was enough, now Mattenes?

At least I've ruled out the glosses b/c I can use the lipstick/mattene under some nude gloss I already have. Although Jampacked is seriously hard to walk away from.

I'm deciding b/w Kirsch, Bing and So Scarlet. Kirsch has looked different on various colourings so I'll have to see it in person. I just don't want it to be too dark, but I think it's been said that it's stainable. I originally wanted Bing tho, but I'll have to compare it to Kirsch. So Scarlet... sadly, I hardly use my Port Red, but that's because I'm still trying to figure out toned-down office makeup after being a student so long! I'm not used to wearing bold lip colours and I'm horribly lazy at reapplying. But SS is so pretty... can anyone tell me if it's really far from Dubonnet and/or Fresh Moroccan, colour-wise?

Other than that, I'll have to be happy with what I have so far and dupe what I can. I keep telling myself the grown-up clothes (i.e. not bumming student shirt and jeans clothes) I bought were worth passing up this collection for...

Haha, it costs (iirc) $48.50 for a quad in Canada.... *cries softly* It almost makes me want to do a US cp but after shipping it's not worth it unless I do a huge haul. Oh boo.

different stores/counters have events at different times. it all depends on the location.

when we have our events the following week of a launch, we are pretty much sold out of at least half of the collection, which really sucks for people who see it for the first time at the event or who decide to wait to buy til their appt because of the purchase requirement. so if i were you, i'd go check it out early and see if they can hold stuff for you til your appt. that way you won't miss out on anything.

I am such a sucker for darks! I think I'll just be getting a quad(tempting most likely) and a couple of slimshines....they look GORGEOUS!

I'll be skipping the quads for sure. I have dupes for most colors and don't want to buy a whole quad for one color only.

For me it'll be also about the lippies. I'm getting So Scarlet, Lightly Ripe and Jampacked. I need to decide between Kirch and Bing mattens. For anyone who's seen them IRL, what do you recommend for an NC30-35 (NC30 in winter)?

I always go on the day of the release to avoid missing out,but yea,I have noticed items being sold out by the event.Then of course the MAs find close matches to the colors to put in the displays when that happens.

I cannot wait to see this collection - especially the lippies! I'm also interested in looking at the quads.
I've got an appointment on the 21st at 2pm. I'll be getting out of school early, but on the 20th I'm going to try to take a class that period instead of getting out early, but I'm going to ask to start that on Friday as I HAVE to go to the MAC counter! ;P
