A related question....
Are there must haves from the perm line to go with this collection? I have Red Enriched, Burgandy and Velvetella liners. Should I pick up Night Moth as well?

Also, I read in an earlier post that Lusterwhite Lusterglass looks great with So Scarlett and Russian Red. Is that a must have?

FYI..VG VI lipglass looks pretty with Lightly Ripe.

So I worked with my So Scarlett last night and today. I have found that if you wear it full-on, it can be quite bright and for me it just won't work for daytime. So I figured out a way to wear for day that I think looks very lovely. There are two ways:

For both, prep lips with chapstick and use Plum liner-line lips with liner and then smudge in halfway through lip area.

First way-
Apply a full application across top and bottom lips. Then blot about 3 times to make it a stain. Refresh line a bit if you need to. Apply hot n saucy. This is the darker option, I have posted it in a FOTD if you would like to see.

Second way-
Same directions with chapstick and plum liner. Apply full coat of So Scarlett. Blot lips until it is almost gone. Refresh liner if needed. Take lip brush and put a small coat of So Scarlett on it. Rub the small amount you have across the outermost portion of lips to make sure the plum liner is covered. Blot once more then apply Pucker or clear gloss. Pucker makes it a really nice pinkish/berry color.

This thread is like the "Bad Boy" you know you shouldn't date but can't stay from no matter what trouble he brings.... I keep reading this tread and now I am wanting to buy more than I already have! I was there on release day and got:

Lightly Ripe & So Scarlet
Kirsch
Cherry Blossom, Cult of Cherry, Rich & Ripe, Jampacked

Now I regret passing on the Spiced Chocolate quad and the Blooming blush.

I was sure the quad was dupable and that I already had enough blush.

Now my finger is ready to dial and ask my MA if they are still in stock!

Honestly, I really don't feel liked Spiced Chocolate is a "must have". Don't get me wrong, I love owning it b/c it is pretty, but it isn't all that unique. However, Blooming is a must!!!!!!!!

I think I need to take another look at Blooming. I am NW20 and at first I thought it was going to be to dark. The quad..... I have Bold and Brazen & Cranberry so they might be good dupes. I am also using my Eyepopping for a Sharp dupe. Close enough for me since I hardly ever use that sorta color.

My MA is going to laugh because I swore up and down I was done with this collection.

Well....later that night, (I was kicking myself...LOL for not getting a couple other lippies..) ::kick kick::

So Sun. night I placed an order online. (being I'd be busy this wk to get down to the MAC counter).

Here's what I ordered:

-Cherry l/l
-Russian Red l/s


...and NOW TODAY ....I got another swift kick from myself...LOL

I picked up Blooming a few days ago. New HG I LOVE it. It's so natural on me, one of the best looking blushes I have found with me being so pale it just looks like a light flush of colour, nothing too heavy. I wasn't sure it would look good at first but it's lovely. Very happy with my purchase!

Which skin tone are you?

I buy NC15 MAC foundation, it about the best match I've ever found for my skin tone even though I'm probably slightly lighter.
