I want Tempting Quad and Shadowy Lady Quad. Spiced Chocolate would probably too warm for me and I think browns don't suit me.

I am sitting here and try to find out what I want from Ungaro, Suite Array and the mineralized stuff in October... Trying to budget...

My MA says Ungaro will be gorgeous and I still love pinks - but maybe I don't need more than one e/s from Suite Array

If you are a pink lover, then Ungaro was made for you - the shades are really pretty. The only thing that I am keen on from this collection is the Beauty Powder. I don't wear the CCB and the lipsticks are not really my thing.

I've been thinking about Suite Array and unless the shadows are AMAZING, then I think I will skip it. Glittery eyeliner is not my thing so those are not for me. The Mineralized collection is another story though......

That looks right up my alley.

OK - I'm not helping at all, am I? Just rambling and commisserating that it is indeed very hard with all these collections! And then of course there is Holiday.....

I think the colors coordinate beautifully, and are well balanced.
You have beautiful eyes and a beautiful mouth; why shouldn't we notice all of them?

So Scarlet is beautiful.
Just don't expect it to actually be "scarlet."
I think of "scarlet" as straight up bright red, and So Scarlet is a deep berry wine.
It's actually pretty close in color to the discontinued Rocker, though of course the texture is totally different.
So Scarlet, an Amplified Creme, feels a bit "wet" to me, so you may want a liner to keep it where it needs to be.

"wet" is alright - as I usually just wear lipglasses

For sure! I was playing around with it earlier and it was going all over the place even with the different liners I was trying with it. By the end I looked like a little kid who had broken into her mommy's make-up with fuschia fingertips and cracks I didn't know I had in my lips stained red! I used some lip exfoliator, slapped on Kirsch mattene, and breathed a sigh of relief! LOL

Adding my 2 cents, this is in my opinion the most versatile and wearable quad with the best textures. Every single ma was wearing this quad at the premiere party and it just lightened/brightened up their faces. I def think you should get it, I don't think you would regret it at all!

I'm not a big fan of the Amplified Creme finish, so yeah. I think I'll definitely skip So Scarlet and stick to Queen's Sin, even if it is a different sort of red and finish. =) I want a scarlet color to actually be scarlet if I'm going to get it.

So I'm in love with the Rich and Ripe + Lightly Ripe lip combo, of course...it's so gorgeous and pink and deep and lovely!

But today I tried Creme Cerise + Rich and Ripe...and it's amazing!! Like a muted deep brownish yellow pink...I'm so excited! Next I'll have to try out some combos with Liquor...but I just had to let you guys know! If you have Creme Cerise and Rich and Ripe and want to have beautiful pink lips-try it on ASAP!!

I can proudly say I haven't hauled any CoC since the day it was released.

Susanne, I will also add the CoC is fabulous on you. This collection sucks you right in. Stuff you didn't think you liked before? You like now. Oh yes.

I'm reeeaalllly excited for the black lip mix I ordered to get here so I can start playing with that alongside my CoC goodies.

Oh man. I'm fairly new here, so HI! I've been wearing MAC for about 4 years now, though. So far I've bought from the CoC collection: So Scarlet (my first CoC purchase!), Tempting, and Blooming. The first thing I wanted was Spiced Chocolate, but after having it tried on me at the counter, it's the last thing I want. XD

But I still want to pick up Plum du Bois, Lightly Ripe, and Kirsch. I'm also reeeeally enamoured with Shadowy Lady and Cult of Cherry lipglass, but do you think I can pull those off with my coloring? There's a pic of me in my profile, and of course a description below in my sig.

You ladies all look absolutely beautiful in the new CoC stuff! Thanks for this big wonderful thread.

Personally, I LOVE Spiced Chocolate. You can make it as colorful or toned down as you want. Sometimes I just do a nice subtle swipe of brash over a simple brown shadow & its beautiful. Brash is a gorgeous color.
