I think the lip glasses from Dare to Wear are so similar as far as the dazzle involved that you don't really need both. Just one or the other. That's just my opinion. None of the d/g's made me jump up and down.

I had a hard time deciding on which lipsticks to get. I ended up with Hot Sass, Naughty You and Infused w/Glam... And Boys Go Crazy. I wore Infused with Glam today and I LOVED it. Sooo pretty. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like the others just as much. I might go back for more. Nothing was sold out when I was there.

Since I have Fab Frenzy and Blackfire which I love I decided to not get Boys Go Crazy. Nordstroms was extremely busy so I left after waiting a while. One of the MAs did speak with me but was busy. I went to Lush, 2nd time in the store and finally bought something(Sweet Lips Sugar Scrub and Happy Blooming bath melt). Best Lip scrub I have tried so far. Went back to Nordstroms and the same MA apologized and thanked me for coming back. To make a long story short.... I picked up Spanking Rich after swatching 4 DGs. I love the gold and pinks in it. My DLs are in the mail.... I hope to get them soon. I have Fafi High Top so I didn't get Hellraiser although it is pretty. If you put Ever so Rich over HT you sort of get HR. I am suppose to be on a lippie no buy but could not resist. I've never had a problem in Nordstorm, it is a shame what some people will do to make money or get a sale but end up not getting the sale because of their actions.

I did a look with hellraiser and naughty you on my blog. I think I like naughty you better than hellraiser now. haha

I pre-ordered early in the week thinking it would be mailed to me. After giving the SA all my info, he said I had to pick it up in store. Well, I picked up my items Friday. I passed on Boys Go Crazy and I'm having second thoughts now. I can't always do purple lips so I thought I'd pass but it looks so pretty!

Liquid Lurex is everything Liba said. I like it with one coat though as it looks more pink on my lips. With two coats it is super silvery on me. This color is definately a stand out!

I tried to take a pic of it on my lips but I couldn't really capture the color. A big thanks to everyone who posts swatches. It is really hard to get a good pics.

went to try these last week, is it just me or most of the colors don't go on smoothly? out of the ones i tried, the only one actually went on evenly and didn't feel gritty was hellraiser.

No your not alone in thinking that some don't go on smoothly. I got 3 of them, in love with the colors...but I had to return them. The glitter got all around my mouth & my lips got sensitive to the glitter too. So sad cuz they are very pretty. I guess it dazzleglasses for me, not the lipsticks.

Can anyone tell me what they think my chances are of getting the lipsticks I ordered that are backordered? They say they'll be here by 8/12, but do you think it's just a bluff on Nordstrom's part and they have no chance of getting new stock in?

I wish I had a Nordies somewhere around me.

the lipsticks will become permanent soon, so i'm sure they'll get all the colors eventually

After these reviews, I'm glad I passes on the lipsticks. I hate random glitter on my face away from my eyes. Even dazzleglass can be too much sometimes.

My Boys Go Crazy ha shipped out (Thanks again, Corrine!) and I cannot wait to get it!!!!

I received Hellraiser and Glaringly Hip yesterday (still waiting for Liquid Lurex and Win Win). These are just

- amazing! The glitter is very noticeable in real life. While I can feel it a tiny bit on my lips, it definitely isn't distracting or super gritty. I just love the way they look on the lips- the dimension is so cool and unique. Definitely have never seen a product like this before. Anyways my camera just broke but I am going to take some pics w/ my sister's camera to share!

has anyone had issues with getting glitter all everywhere aside from their lips? I'm worried about the glitter bits being too large and noticeable.

May I ask where you got this information?

All I know is the collection (except the dazzleglasses) is going to be available everywhere on Aug 5th. I might have missed something.

I think there is a mixup here, because I have been following theses threads pretty closely since we even heard of the new Dazzle formulation and I can't remember hearing about them becoming perm.

(Of course I think this is what MAC hopes to do in the future, given that they sell well, etc etc, when they develop a whole new lipstick formulation. But this is only the first time they've been released.)

As the others have said, the lipsticks will be available in other MAC locations soon, so the supply of these is not as limited as other collections. This might also mean that Nordie's might be able to fill backorders, but who knows.

I am glad that you didn't let her manipulate you because what she told you is total b.s. I preordered two lipsticks and one gloss from this collection, picked it up early (on 7/13), and don't have a Nordie's CC. She was lying to you.
