MAC - Digi Pops Discussion

I hope these lipsticks do become permanent because Naughty You MUST stay!! It doesn't look super special swatched on your hand but when you put it on it's super unique. I am excited for more new colors mac will release of these. I want a lavender whip version and a bright cherry red.

btw I have no problems of the glitter migrating on my face unless you accidently touch your lips/face or if your bf kisses you (he won't be too happy). lol

The MUA at the counter where I bought mine basically said that, if the lipsticks work, MAC will find a way to make them permanent. It's pretty common sense, really and I think it's probably what they did with the Cremesheens originally- release a bunch, look at the sales and come up with a set of permanent additions once they've proven themselves.

I'm enjoying mine very much and I haven't noticed glitter migration problems. I have noticed that there are some "kissing migration" problems as kiss mentioned above. Not sure my bf is crazy about these lipsticks, since he keeps having to wipe away glittery bits.

On a related note, I wore Snazzy for the first time yesterday and I really recommend it. It's not dissimilar to Odyssey l/s, although it's sheerer. Has a pinky-plum look to it, not too glittery but it catches the light nicely. I found it had more colour impact than Baby's on Fire.

Well, well, well. I went to Nordstroms to FINALLY get Hot Sass and it's sold out! Just lovely. You may remember how I was told that I needed to open a Nordstroms account the day the lipsticks were released to purchase them. I am pissed. It's not even on line. Fan-friggin-tastic.

That sucks

....but can't you get it when it comes out at the MAC store? I thought I'd read it will be available there on Temptalia's write up on the collection.

I thought it was still unclear whether they'd end up in Mac or not. A girl at Bloomingdales said she thinks they might get it. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. Really.

Oh yikes!! Well I hope for both of us that they get it because I didnt even try going to Nordstroms. I'm low on funds anyway and need to save my money for the Dare to Wear. Let's keep our fingers crossed MAC stores get the collection!

My Bloomies MUA keeps telling me they are coming. She says she loves them. She'll call me when they come in. I can keep an eye out for you.

^ I saw the display of dazzle lipsticks at a Macy's. Someone put it out with In The Groove collection by mistake. Then, a MA came and grabbed the whole display saying "this was not supposed to be here yet." That was cute. She and I laughed together. So, at least I know I can see them there later.

I haven't had any problems with glitter getting everywhere. I just LOVE these lippies! I would love for them to go perm!

Shontay I think other places will get this, I work at Macys and I was playing around with the new search and send feature and it had it up to purchase through the system at Macys, no idea when it'll hit stores but our little system shows up for us to buy lol.

It makes sense. Didn't we hear something similar when we had Too Fabulous collection? Wondering if those lip pencils will become permanent later.

I got part of my Digi Pops haul! I only ordered DGs because the lipsticks will be available the first week of August at MAC and I want to swatch a few before I buy. Anyway, I got: Glamour OD, Fabulous Fun, and Boys Go Crazy. I'm in love with Boys Go Crazy and I'm so glad I got a backup! I'm on a purple kick right now so, this works perfectly! I was not as excited for Fabulous Fun as I hoped I would be but, I'm glad I got it. I hoped it would be close to Ms Fizz and it may be. I don't know because I don't have Ms Fizz. I still have another shipment coming which includes Spanking Rich and You Got the Look. Can't wait!

Picked up Hellraiser as soon as these went on sale. Love the blue tint and the glitter combo lined with Vino l/l. The application goes on smooth but like others have stated glitter gets everywhere and it's hard to remove(even with shea butter). Still in love with it anyway.

Picked up Hot Sass. I didn't like it when I first tried it on, but ut grew on me as I walked around the mall. So I went back to the counter and grabbed it. Love it!

I think I'm a minority here, but I'm not a huge fan of having a lot of glitter on my lips. I loveee color, shine and shimmer but the word "glitter" makes me a little hesitant. I planned on skipping this collection but now that I'm hearing so many people rave about it, I'm wondering if I'll be kicking myself in the rear end if I pass it up!

I'd love to hear from everyone who's tried it, especially if you're like me about the whole glitter thing!

I know a lot of people have said they have glitter everywhere but I have not had this problem, I don't think they are too glittery... I absolutely love these lipsticks! I can't rave about them enough

I think they look gorgeous on and they don't have a weird texture or anything either.
