I interrupt myself for a brief rant:
On Monday, during the brief time in which Boys Go Crazy was on the Nordstrom site again, I hastened to order one.
I got nervous when it disappeared again within about an hour, so I did a live chat the next day at the Nordstrom site, and the representative told me only that my order "hadn't been cancelled yet," and that I should wait a few days and check back.
"Fair enough," thinks I.
In the meantime, I get a shipping confirmation on my order, and think, "Woo-hoo! It's on its way!"
Then, I start thinking in terms of a tracking number.
Nordstrom: "It's not available yet; wait a few days, and check back."
Carla: "Fair enough."
I wait a couple of days, call back, and am told, "It's in transit, and scheduled for delivery on September 20."
I get to thinking that I'd like to have the tracking number in my possession, so that if the package doesn't arrive on Monday, I'll have some inkling about what's going on.
So I make another call to Nordstrom:
Nordstrom: "It's still in transit, and on time, but your order's been split into two packages."
Carla: "Wha? I only ordered one item!"
Nordstrom: "You're getting a gift with purchase!"
Sooo, the gift with purchase is what's "in transit, and on time," NOT the Dazzleglass!
Now, I fear getting an e-mail from Nordstrom, gently informing me that "We were not able to obtain one of the items in your order # blahblah. Your credit card has not been charged. We apologize for any ..."
Oh, well;
maybe I'll get it, and even if I don't, I can make the one I've got last a looong time.
End of rant.
If I don't get it, I may go after Quite Spoiled; I have all manner of sparkly stuff I could add to it.
