My excitement for this collection has plummeted. Luckily, I am still getting the purple dazzleglass
I think I can live w/o the lipsticks.

I went in and chatted with some MA's today, and one of them is usually quite *meh* about collections and thinks I am funny for being such an addict. Well today even she told me that the Dazzle lippies are really nice.
She also said that we will be getting the lipsticks and the dazzleglasses. (Since there was someone that had heard that only the lipsticks might be international.)

We don't get the lipsticks and the dazzleglasses. They think dutch girls don't like that much glitter, so we wouldn't like the dazzle lipsticks. I'm happy that i don't want anything from this collection, but i do like glitter

It's funny because lots of MA's at MAC seem like they are not all that interested in MAC and don't really follow collections. I always hear a MA asking someone from what collection a product is from. I get a feeling that's it's just a job for lots of them. Perhaps they got tired and lost interest in Mac or maybe we are all just crazy.

one day i would love to work for mac, but perhaps it is much harder and tiring than we think. at the end of the day i feel that you have to be a good sales person as well as MUA and perhaps some people find the sales part tough?

some people consider it just a job, not all MUAs are mac enthusiasts like us
i work part time in retail and get all excited about new collections and our fashion shows and some of my colleagues couldn't care less.
not everybody (can) make their passion their job (and the other way around) unfortunately.

That is weird to me and I find that it's the case a lot.. Other times when I get an MA that knows his/her stuff and they are telling me all about it, then I want to say "yeah yeah I've known for weeks"

The MAs at my store don't seem to like their retail job alot, but they do like being makeup artists. The MA at my Dillard's counter is probably more of a collection freak than I am- she seems to love working at MAC. I guess it varies where you go.

I thought this was going to be a skip for me but not so fast.
I can't wait to hear more reviews from you guys. I'm now super interested in Liquid Lurex, Hellraiser, and Smash Hit. Although I'm not as excited for this collection as I usually am for the Nordies anniversay collection.
I always love going there while in Vegas in July. This year I will especially enjoy hitting the CCO there (I always enjoy that though) as mine flooded May 1st in the great flood of Nashville 2010.
I hope I can find Strada blush at the CCO since I read it was on the chopping block. I love it for contouring. So I'm hoping to get a couple of back-ups at a discount.

I find the same thing here in Montreal. I've asked several times about upcoming collections and gotten either a blank stare or a curt "I don't know". Strangely, the only ones who seem excited about anything are the MA's working at the auxilliary counter in The Bay downtown. If they have upcoming information, I have to think that others get it as well. That counter tends to have the best service of any of the MACs here. Too bad it doesn't have PRO products...
