I own Fab Frenzy, and thought immediately upon seeing BGC that they looked the same. They do look the same...in the tube. But applied, FF comes out more red purple (berry) whereas BGC is very much blue purple (amethyst). Also, the glitter is obviously different.

Boys Go Crazy and Fab Frenzy are different. You can safely have both! BTW I was able to preorder the dazzleglasses and they'll be sent to me with my other Nordstrom Beauty Exclusives...I had no idea that wasn't what was supposed to happen. Or either the MA I worked with made a mistake. Either way I'm glad because I live 2 hours away and really wouldn't want to drive so far for some lipgloss. I got You've Got The Look and Boys Go Crazy Dazzleglasses. I'm beyond excited for Hellraiser Lipstick though! Woo!

OK sorry if this is a dumb question as I know this is a nordies exclusive...I thought I read somewhere that it was goin to be launched on the regular mac website aswell? Is that correct?

I'm so excited I got my pre-order in the mail today!
Very happy with everything, I got Smash Hit, Liquid Lurex, Hellraiser & Boys go crazy. Smash Hit reminds me of Resort Life in l/s form very pretty! I was wondering if I should get Boys go Crazy too, but glad I did! It's a true purple, like it has been mentioned amethyst color gorgeous!!!
Now I want a darker one of the lipsticks, not sure which one.
I already love d/g now I have a new love these lipsticks are fabulous imo!

Which website? Mac or Nordstrom?
According to the lady I did live chat with, this collection will be on online at 12:00 AM (midnight) PST July 16th. I heard everything except the Dazzleglasses will be available everywhere on August 5th. I don't know if this means they will be on the MAC site. I do remember seeing Graphic Garden, the last year's Nordstorom exclusive at my Macy's counter after it hit Nordstrom. But not sure if they were on the MAC site.

I think so. I was surprised when the lady said it will be online at 12:00 AM PST, July 16. But since anniversary sale will start July 16, it makes sense. Hope they will ship you dazzleglasses.

Well color me crazy. I ran up in Nordstroms a few hours ago ready to buy Baby's On Fire and Hot Sass and they still had the pre sale sign up. The lady said it's not on sale until the 16th. Bummer.

I went. I saw. I hauled. Sort of.
Surprisingly, the lipstick I liked the most was Liquid Lurex. It reminds me of Vex, my favourite eye shadow ever, but for lips. There's a greenish- greyish- yellowish base, but lots of sparkly pink in the light. It looked amazing.
I got Baby's on Fire, because I don't have THAT many red lipsticks, but this one is noticeably less sparkly than the others, so it isn't as distinctively "dazzle".
I gave Hot Sass a try on my hand, it looked amazing. On my lips, it was a sort of washed out peachy colour and the pink sparkle didn't show. I also tried Hellraiser, which was always the one I was sure I'd get... turns out it is an exact dupe (to my eye) for High Top from the Fafi collection (although shinier) or Nico lipglass, which I've been buying for years.
Of course, I also grabbed Boys Go Crazy, because nothing that shade can exist without coming home with me...
Overall, I thnk the Dazzle lipsticks work well in lighter, shinier shades. The ones that try to be mid-tone, bright or dark, tend to look like overly heavy frosts. As far as grittiness, it was weird. They felt gritty as all get out when I was putting them on, but not gritty at all once they were on my lips. Quite nice, actually.

I totally agree about Liquid Lurex - totally unexpected pink champagne shimmer. From one angle it looks like tarnished bronze-gold and from another angle, so much pretty soft pink!
Baby's On Fire was actually a bit of a disappointment because it was less sparkly and just more solid red with subtle frosty pigments. I think a lot of people will love it though, because it's a really nice wearable shade of red - not too extreme.
Besides Liquid-Lurex, I personally loved Hellraiser - tons and tons of blue shimmer on a delicate sheer mauve base. A real all-year round color that was wild and feminine at the same time.
I only tried Hot Sass on my hand, but it looks promising. I'd call it the color of fresh carrot soup. Over the right lip liner it could be really nice and overall a wearable orange for a lot of different skin tones. However, it seems quite likely that that Fabulous Felines Leopard Luxe shade, Powerful, might be a more sophisticated and grown-up brick orange bronze, just a little fancier than Hot Sass.
Naughty You was another standout shade, but I just found my oooooold tube of Holidazzle last night out of the blue, so I sort of feel like I don't need another neon hot pink right now. Even still, a very sophisticated neon pink good for many skin tones and social situations - it'll be popular.
I'm not a person that notices grit much, so I can't report on that, but I will say the effect is the super shiny sparkliness of the most recent lip gelees, but in a texture that felt halfway between a lustre and a glaze to me. Also with much more complex, multi-toned shimmer than those lip gelees. Plenty of adult, sophisticated colors, rather than just shiny kiddy playtime.

Saw these too today (at my MAC Store - they are going on sale there next thurs.!!)

Yes, I actually found it in the secondary counter (in the basement) at the Bay in downtown Montreal. There were a number of people there. It's pretty crowded, because they have all the ITG stuff out as well, but it's definitely there.

Glad to hear that. I hate scratchy stuff. I didn't go running to the Bay today, instead I went to the beach. I decided to wait until they come out at the pro store since I have a gift card there. wheeee I am excited fo hellraiser!
I got my goodies today!!!
I ordered the brush sets, and got several of the lipsticks - what Nordie's is doing now to avoid the issue they had with ML and pre-sales is they're sending whatever you pre-'buy' to your house - that way there are no bags to go through in the back - it avoids things mysteriously disappearing from pre-sell orders......
Anway, I love these lipsticks - they're not at all gritty on me - can't wait to play!!!!
