Eeee! Is it tomorrow yet?! I can't even pick up my order until after work because I have an orthodontist appointment over lunch.

I was looking at Temptalia's swatches and the only thing to keep in mind is that glitter rarely photographs well. You can't see the finish as accurately until you see it in person. I'm looking forward to snatching up a Hellraiser then going home to experiment layering it over various colors. Maaaaaaybe I'll give other colors a chance (meaning, I'll try them on), but I'm not anticipating loving anything else from what I've swatched so far.

yeah i am deffo skipping boys go crazy - i have that many d/g's i really don't need anymore.

I can't decide if I want to skip BGC or not... I think I'm going to just go ahead and get it. D/g and L/g really don't impress me much but I'm going to try this one anyway. What the hell.

I say buy it, try it out, then if you don't love it, return it or sell/swap it. I've missed out on too many items that I wasn't 100% sure on, then regretted later. You'd feel worse if you didn't get it, then kicked yourself later.

I'm going to try and pick up my preorder of Troublemaket tomorrow morning. I thought they said they would ship to my house so it arrived before the release date but I just talked to two MAs from Nordstrom and one said it wouldn't ship til the 19th and the other said mine wasn't even in the system and to pick one up at 7 AM tomorrow! So annoying and confusing...

I originally thought I can safely pass this collection, but after seeing Temptalia's swatches, I think I'm screwed! I liked quite a few of the lippies! Oh no. I wonder if this collection will be released internationally though?

I got naughty you and it's so pretty, bright and sparkly. You must use a lip scrub prior to use though as these can settle. I couldn't pass up boys go crazy after swatching it, it's actually more opaque than alot of dazzleglasses and unique. I also got my tax return check and thought what the hell Ill get it. lol

No more MAC for me for a while!

Yes it will. Here we'll be getting everything but the Look in a boxes at the main counter that has "freestanding store" stock and just the lip products at the other counters.

Re-looking at Temptalia's swatches, I think I'm most interested in these 4 lippies:

Baby's On Fire
Infused With Glam
Troublemaker
Win-Win

Though I might cave and get some others when I see them in person. I'm such a lippie whore. Sigh.

Swatches aren't changing my mind! I am sticking with the Boys Go Crazy CP I got (thanks, Corrine!) and the lippies are not tempting me.

True to my weak-willed form, I went back for Hellraiser and Snazzy. The latter is just a very pretty plum colour (like Baby's on Fire, it is lower on the shimmer scale. I figured, even though I have High Top, which is a near match for Hellraiser, I really love that colour and the finish makes them look different enough. LL is still my overall favourite.

I just picked up my preordered Troublemaker and the MA couldn't find it for TWENTY MINUTES! I was scared they didn't hold something for me once again. Plus, the week before the same MA told me if I preordered it would be shipped to my house and be there before today. I've pretty much had it with the Southcenter Nordstrom counter. The service I receive is so bad so often.

I called Nordstrom's at The Grove where I reserved my DG to ask to put a Hellraiser on hold for me, and the MA puts me on hold for ten minutes. WTF? She said she was "finishing up with a client." Five minutes, maybe, but ten? All I needed from her was less than a minute of her time to jot down my name and what I wanted. So I hung up and will just have to risk it. The sad part is that I can't even deny them the sale since I'll buy it if it's there tonight, and if it's not, then they've sold it to someone else.

Bah.

Well, I called a Nordstrom almost two weeks ago and did a pre-sale for some of the DGs that were to be shipped to me before they went on sale. Still don't have them so I called the store. The MA said she would call me back...that was over two hours ago.

I can rarely say this, but I'm skipping this collection!

Usually I love sparkles, glitters etc. but for some reason these dazzle lipsticks, as well as the superglasses, don't appeal to me for one bit. Dazzleglasses I already have quite a few and they really are not that special to be owning them all.

Am I the only one in the world who doesn't think dazzleglasses are very glittery like they are suppose to be? Sure I can see _some_ shimmer/glitter in the tube, but on my lips there's almost nothing! If I look really closely my nose glued to the mirror I can see few particles but otherwise they look like normal lipglasses to me with low pearl to none.

Glittery or not, I still adore my Baby Sparks and Smile!

No, you aren't. I don't find them that glittery. I find the glitter is more pronounced in some of the darker colours, like Date Night, but on lighter colours, like Sugarrimmed, it reads more as a shimmer. I have those two plus Money, Honey and I enjoy them all, but, no, they aren't as over the top as I'd expected.

Same, for that matter, with the Superglasses. Yes, there's glitter, but I don't find it's anything shocking. Just adds a nice shimmery layer of colour. The Dazzle finish lipsticks, on the other hand... Whoa.

Well...looks like Boys Go Crazy has sold out online...I was able to grab one last night, was *this close* to putting it in my "save for later* bag, good thing I didn't wait any longer!

I had time to go on lunch after all and hoooooooey it was packed! My favorite MUA was busy making girls pretty, so some other nice ones helped me out. I got my Boys Go Crazy and Hi-Falutin. Hellraiser was there. I even tried on Baby's On Fire, but the color just wasn't anything near what I wanted. I was told that the lipsticks are selling pretty quickly, so if there's something you really want, get on it ASAP.

I did attempt to swatch on my cell phone, but they all came out blurry. But at least with the blur you can see the sparkle!

Top to Bottom: Hi-Falutin, Boys Go Crazy, Hellraiser, Baby's On Fire

You can see that Hi-Falutin is just a hair peachy, but it applies very sheer, and I love the gold sparkle. Additionally, you can see that BGC is clearly purple as opposed to berry. They're both so pretty!
