I took EE back to Mac and bought the Violet lip bag. I love the lip glass. It will look amazing over RiRi Nude. Now that I think about it, it would have looked great of EE. Oh well, too late!

Isn't Private Party BEAUTIFUL. I love it. I've only used it once. Did you get the lip gloss with it too. Sadly, I missed out on Who's That Chick. Why, you ask? Well, let me tell you.....Because BELK screwed up my order. This will come as no surprise to the dozens of folks who tried to order from them online recently. Belk led me to believe that they had the lipstick online, but cancelled the "make-believe" order a week later. This is fast becoming their new MO. Is WTC a nude-frosty color? 

Private party is a beauty ,just got to play with them, was surprised Mac stores still had them. Belk did that to me to with fod, but call around as wtc is the most abundant color our of the riri fall lippies.the store I got mine from yesterday had 2 left I picked up one. It is no where near nude more orange or gold frost, first frost I own, usually don't do frost but thank you to whoever suggested wtc with a red liner! Gorgeous!!

The story of my LIFE. I am forever on the hunt for a "corporate" purple. No way I can sit in meetings with exec level clients with RiRi Boy or Goes and Goes topped with Illamasqua Fierce lipgloss and expect to not get looked at like I'm retarded. NO. WAY. Lol.


I wear my purples (and magentas) to work (corporate office). I just tone some of them down with a deeper lip pencil and don’t over apply. I wear Feel My Pulse, UTA, Riri Boy, Girl About Town etc. without getting any dirty looks. I am pretty conservative in the office, but a nice pop of color on the lips give me life. My eye makeup is always neutral and I may wear a matte blush very lightly. The color I don’t feel comfortable wearing to work is orange! If I came in here wearing Lady Danger or Neon Orange – I would really get stares...OK back to work. Needed a break.

I think I'm gonna skip the gloss sets for now. I already have Phiff, Richly Revered, Colour Saturation, and Star Quality. Plus I just got a bunch of lip products from Sephora, Ulta, Tarte, etc.

My two sets arrived today. In the box, the Coral set looks a lot more exciting than the nude, but I know I'll get lots of use out of both. This is the first year I've really gone to town with palettes and sets (two CSG sets, UD Ocho Loco 2, the Laura Mercier e/s palette, Hourglass Ambient powders); honestly, it's going to take a lot more for me to pay what I've recently paid for single items going forward. I like the MAC Kohl pencils and bought two, but when compared to the OC2 collection, they just seem overpriced.

I'm stocking up a bit and think I'll be taking it easier over the next year. Until recently, I'd bought a lot less than in 2012. I've always been a MAC girl and have grown to love NARS, but after cheating on both and discovering some fabulous other options, I don't think I'll be nearly as brand loyal as I have been in the past.

I totally understand what you mean about brand loyalty. My eyes have wandered a lot recently with the overload of Christmas offerings. So many things! It makes cheating on MAC a lot more easier

They will automatically just credit my account since the pigment isn't in stock. I should've listened to my husband when he told me to just order it online.

I ordered that palette with the NARS One Night Stand palette because Karen from MBB really made it look so beautiful. So far I have enjoyed using the palette. The colors are so pretty

But I really want some of the Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palettes...
