I finally got my Exclusive Event! At first I didn't like it. But, when I combined it with a taupe eye shadow, it made a great nude. I'm still a little apprehensive about it though. Because, I still look a little washed out in it. And I probably won't reach for it much. But, it's still a pretty shade. And I don't have anything like it, in my stash. So, it's unique enough to keep. :amused:
I think this looks gorgeous on you! Very pretty! It's like perfect for you!

I like it too! It's just not an everyday color for me. And yes Liba! I paired EE with, Winter Pursuit MES and Buck from the Naked 1 palette in my crease. And a dusting of STBS on the cheeks. It was such a lovely look!

I picked up the teal and green pigment set even though I swore I was only getting the black and gold set. I love them both.

I was able to go the distance and purchase all the LL blushes that I could find. I realize that while I have wishes so do others. Serious CPs only for Lavish Living blush which I intend to mail out on Monday! I got the last five in the whole world (jk) BNIB from a Macy in Coral Springs ,Fl with members of this site in mind . PM me if you are looking for Lavish Living blush!

Hi all, I am considering buying yet another holiday set. I now want the nude lip gloss set and maybe the black and gold pigments. I passed through Dillard's on the way to Sephora in the mall today. I had not seen any of the pigment sets in person then a MA stopped by and had me try on the nude set and pigments on my arm. I was supposed to be on a no buy. I also wanted to try Stila's magnificent metals. But for $32 a pop I might as well go for the pigment set. But I really shouldn't............

Anyway I am debating buying a new shadow pan to round out a palette, I am considering passionate. I am N9 in studio fix, does anyone have any opinions on the shade and how it would work on me.? I am open to suggestions.

I'm not a big lip gloss person BUT for some reason I did breakdown and buy the Nude lip gloss set because my makeup artist had one of the colors on the day I was in the store. I actually like it. So, I say, go for it. The Nude gloss set gives you a lot of versatility. As for pigments, they are not my thing so I will let others try to persuade you.

I cannot help because I am torn on whether or not to get pigments either. To antienable I'd say I can always buy samples of just the ones I like. A set is a good way to try them. I would rather focus on getting samples of the ones I don't have. Where this thinking breaks dowm though is when there is a pigment that is unique and I can't get a sample! I don't want to buy a whole set just for the one unless I will use all of them. So as you can see I am no help herem I am not a gloss person much either but they do help with these drier lippies like the retro mattes. For me the c/s/g are more like liquid lipstick because they don't have that annoying tacky consistency so I got three of them from this collection

I was considering the black gold pigment set just for the black pigment but it didn't wow me in person, i don't think it would give that 3d glittery effect it's kind of just flat black, maybe a proper makeup artist would find some creative use for it though

Is private party worth the price most sellers are charging on ebay? I missed out and now I'm regretting it. Most people are asking about $28, what do you ladies think?

On the one hand you can almost get two MAC lippies for that price but on the other hand I assume the ebay price accounts for shipping, paypal fees, and of course some seller markup. This helps you absolutely 0%. I'm sorry. I guess it all depends on how desperately you want it.

Well in your honest opinion, do you think it's worthy of $28? I've seen some people compare it to spitfire which I already own. I'm just debating on whether I should get it or hold out for pleasure bomb.

Private Party is a very changeable lipstick color that looks very different on different people. I wouldn't buy it at any price, especially a markup, without having tried it first. It can go all the way from amazing to old lady depending on your skin tone, so it's a buyer beware situation for sure.

Personally I love it, but it's on the old granny end of the spectrum on me - I just happen to like the look of that right now.

I didn't love Private Party on me, so $28 is definitely a no go, but of course that has everything to do with personal preference. I find that I'm constantly pairing it with another (more purple lippie), but everyone else seems to love it. I feel like [@]Richelle83[/@] swatched both Private Party and Spitfire in this thread somewhere and if I recall correctly they weren't true "dupes" in my opinion.

Have you seen how PP looks on someone your same complexion? If so, did it appeal to you? I would say to wait for a restock, I don't believe there has been one yet and there most likely will be. If you still want to go ahead with eBay, can you wait until you get some eBay bucks? That way you can get somewhat of a discount. I personally love PP. It's a really flattering muted berry on me, one of those lipsticks I can just throw on and know it will look good. I will get a lot of use out of it.
