uoooh I want that beauty powder *___* is that a cutie spider ? *___*

The pearlmatte formula came out with MAC in Lillyland a while ago. It also had an interesting pattern, though it was nicer to admire than to apply. I considered it pretty much a collector's item, but I'm sure this one will fly off the shelves as well.

Liba, thanks for posting the Vera link. This is very interesting. I find it always fascinating how logos change over time.
I recognize the logo on the face powder! It's Vera - a textile designer who made dresses and scarves with her distinctive patterns, sort of an American Marimekko. My mom had a couple of summer dresses and a scarf of hers when I was growing up which I was always very fascinated by...big, bright abstract prints! They influenced me very much and I even wound up working as a textile designer myself at one point in my life.
'Looks like someone's trying to revive the brand with this tie-in. I bet there'll be at least some printed makeup bags or a scarf, like there was for Liberty of London! Who knows....maybe there'll be special packaging too.

Thanks for the link! The blush and powder are pretty, but such a shame about the MES looking just like Sea & Sky. I guess Mac are running out of colours to do them in. :(

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet. I am not associated with this blog so I can't vouch for how accurate.

they look so great :) but a bit less sparkly as somebody had already mentioned. compared to the originals of course.

Blue Flame, Cinderfella and Young Punk are the originals. She mentions in her review, that she only got Smutty Green, Water & Ice and Sweet & Sour from MAC.

My Water & Ice looks completely different. It's really important to bear in mind that MES always, always differ from one another!

I guess not completely matte, but the MES from In The Groove-collection were a very nice satin finish.

Although I loved that collex i got one mes the brown/cream one and in all honesty that would be my least fave Mac item out off 300!!
just didn't like it...
Thanks for jotting my memory though!

Thanks! The only one that really tempts me is Smutty Green. Although I have more green shadows than I'll ever use, it does look nice. I'd still like to see it compared to the green side of She Who Dares from VV, though, especially since it's a lot darker than I expected.
i think that is true for all of us here! :p

I think a while back Lou mentioned something about mineralized products and special packaging. I got my February Teen Vogue and saw this and thought you ladies would be interested. Sorry for the crappy pic, I couldn't find my camera so I'm just using the one on my laptop

On the top of the bottle it says MAC lightful and on the bottom it says Marine-Bright Formula Softening Lotion and in the details of the issue, it says MAC Lightful Lotion and will cost $30 US
