I like how these are so buildable. Yesterday at the store I first swatched FGM with a q-tip and Jesus H, that was a crazy lime green! But then I tried applying with the 227 brush, and the lime green side turned into golden greenish loveliness. So you could do a bright, bold look as well as a more subtle one. Thumbs up!

I reswatched a bunch of the duos today... and.. UGH.
Fresh Green Mix and Odd Couple are SO tempting. The purple is a whatever purple.. but the Melange side of Odd Couple is SOOO beautiful! Hot Contrast is really pretty too! If there's a lot of red. But I don't really care for the mono half of Hot Contrast either...

I have also noticed that this year the company releases the collections much later than they did last year and much later than these collections are released in other european countries
When I asked about electroflash they behaved like they heard it for the first time... The same happened with neo sci-fi. They also promised to call me when it released, they kept my phone number, but then they forgot me... And I did not buy anything from Athens MAC store. I bought all the items I wanted from Tallinn.

Sophia, I have the impression that MAC store in Athens is trying to sell all the items from previous collections and then proceed with the next collection...
When I asked about electroflash they behaved like they heard it for the first time... The same happened with neo sci-fi. They also promised to call me when it released, they kept my phone number, but then they forgot me... And I did not buy anything from Athens MAC store. I bought all the items I wanted from Tallinn.
I don't like the way they treat us

When I asked about Neo Sci Fi they told me the exact date and they were right LOL. The thing is that is the EL company's fault here in Greece that they do that. I remember 2 years ago I asked about a collection that released at the mid of July and when I asked when they will have it they replied the same as you, we'll have it at September, and when I asked why, they told me it's because the EL company here close for August so we won't have it within the August. So when a mineralised collection released at the same date last year I thought that they would release it again September for the same purpose but NOOOOOO they released it at July 20th or 25th irrc, and I was sooo mad that I missed some stuff that I wanted. I think that the greek MAC lost the true MAC spirit quite quickly... The MAs are somewhat lazy, they rarely propose new combinations and they have this "high-class" behaviour you find in other brands in Greece like Clinique, EL, Chanel etc.
What I really liked in MAC in the first place was that fresh, girly behaviour and the new combinations they proposed.

i totally agree with you Audrey, sea & sky who? fresh green mix is fabulous. omg, it is so pigmented you seriously do not need a base. it is beyond gorgeous.
i wore it yesterday. the mono side on the lid, the mélange side in the crease, expresso concentrated in the outer v and as bridge btw the crease/highlight color & solar white to highlight. bare slimshine on the lips & love joy on the cheeks.

My Hot Contrast is not heavy on the red...but if you use just a light touch with the red & grey & put it over just the center of the lid it is very pretty. If you use a heavy amount of red you'll end up with flaming red devil eyes

It just wasn't.. RED enough. But yeah... if I have enough money.. I might pick up a few more. Just the accident kind of put a drain on my funds for a little.

Ah, as soon as I get some more money, I am definitely going to pick up Hot Contrast and Odd Couple. I don't think I would use Fresh Green Mix a lot. It's not really green on me, if I can say so?

I just got off the phone with a MAC Artist & she said they are "keeping both the Mineral Blushes & Shadows" but "will rotate what comes back in". They are "keeping the Mineral Line"...all her words...YAY!

From what bunnybunnybunny said is that the mineral line will be permanent but things like the Mineralized e/s will rotate. So there will be 6 to begin with and then after several (I think 6) months they will go away for new ones to come in.
Therefore we don't know that any of these colours will forsurely ever reappear.
