I'm afraid to use them wet, LOL....'Cause to me they are pigmented enough. I already own a 227 and used it when 1st trying out the shadows and it picked up too much pigment. So I use my 239, 224 or NARS #12 brushes. Those brushes pick up enough color w/no fallout. I feel like if I use them wet, they'll appear to be on steroids...LOL....

Agreed....Love me some Ether, Quarry, and By Jupiter from Flashtronic, but the fallout is a B*tch! And the only way to get the vibrancy I want is to use MM with them....But I don't have to use MM w/the Electroflash MES!! They are vibrant, pigment and phenomenal dry!

I must be the only one who finds these more frosty than I like. I bought Fresh Green Mix and Sea & Sky, but find them to have too much sparkle. Is there any way to tone down the frost?

I loved the lip Bluebell posted and went into the store and bought Mellow Mood sight unseen, based on her modeling swatch which was labeled Mellow Mood. The colour isn't anything like her picture/swatch. My Mellow Mood is a slightly mid tone plum/pink. What colour is on Bluebell's lips... can anyone make a guess? I love it, but it's not my Mellow Mood and I want her colour. I'm NW20 so I shouldn't be so far off from her.

I wish I could return Mellow Mood, but I B2M for it so I'm stuck with it...

Today I went again to my favourite MAC store and my most favourite MA in Tallinn, Erica. She is such a nice person

Before even buying any mes she proposed to do a makeup for me. I usually prefer to do my makeup on my own (spektra.net and the tutorials is a marvellous inspiration!), but I went today and she did a wonderful makeup on me with love connection and hot contrast! She used the mono side of love connection on my lid, the melange side as a highlighter and the black from hot contract on the crease and as an underline. For my lips, she used pink threat cremestick liner, fast thrill l/s and sonic vibe l/g. The outcome was wonderful

The bad thing is that I don't have a camera with me (and I am 3000 klms away from home to go and get it

) just to show you girls my makeup.

Of course I also bought love connection, hot contrast, fast thrill and sonic vibe

My electroflash collection is getting bigger and bigger

I walked away with Hot Contrast, Two to Glow, and Sea and Sky. I wasn't going to get Sea and Sky, but it really just popped out at me and the MA and I were talking about how even the blues in the Naughty Nauticals collection didn't pop like this. Oddly enough this color drew every passerby in! I came across a complaint about Hot Contrast because of the color with the veining opposite the black. But I used it this morning and it turns out to be a RAD purple! FYI I used these wet too and the color payoff is MUCH better!
I was talked into Vanity's Child lippie and LOVE it. Reminds me of Lovedust and that is a FAVE of mine

The MA that helped me today wore the lime green from Fresh Green on the inner lid and then the burgundy from Play on Plums on the outer v (from what I remember her telling me). That looked really nice.

Honestly that is pretty similar to the way Mellow Mood looks on me. It is ever so slightly darker (a bit rosier) on my lips, but still very close to bluebell's picture (also the reason I decided to try it). I don't have extremely pigmented lips, so that might be why. Also, it looks as if she might be standing in natural light or have used a flash in the pic which could account for a bit of the discrepancy in the photo versus on your lips in real life.

I'm the same basic colouring as the poster in the swatch and my Mellow Mood is rosier as you mentioned. I wanted that peachy-pink look that I see in bluebell's picture.

This is the first time I've been really fooled by a swatch, I can usually tell if a colour in a swatch will show up differently... oh well... maybe I'll like Mellow Mood in the Fall when I want a rosier look.

I adore my MA Phetra! I was wearing Parfait Amour with Naked Lunch only. And she added the two colors from Play-On-Plums and it was was the most GORGEOUS thing ever. She put the Melange side on where I WOULD have a crease if I wasn't Asian lol, and she put the burgundy half on my lower lid with the pencil brush. It was really really beautiful!

Added Pleasantry to my cheeks and the look was complete!

I ended up getting Pink Split, Fresh Green Mix, & Lil Hot Pepper. I went to Macy's and for some reason they had not gotten all of the colors so I had to order Sea & Sky and Hot Contrast online when I got home - I'm sure I'll love them. Macy's only had 4 of the shadows. I was sure I was going to get Two to Glow, but when I swatched it, I wasn't wowed by it, although it is pretty. Pink Split was such a pleasant surprise! It is absolutely beautiful with a lovely shimmer. Fresh Green Mix is gorgeous as well. And the l/g's are really pretty, I was surprised by them as well b/c I expected to pass on them completely. I got Lil' Hot Pepper which is a darkish reddish-raspberry pink color on me (I think I'm NC43-44) - the pearl in these l/g's is lovely.

All in all, I must say that I am really pleased by this collection. I can't wait to get Hot Contrast and Sea & Sky!

I loved all of them. They were more sheer than I thought they would be. The MA said to lay down a base for sure, but they would stay on all day.

I didn't want any of them until I saw them. Oh boy!!

It really ALL DEPENDS on the veining.
I had very lil red and more black so my dupe of it looked exactly the same.
It will vary with everyone. But I can see it being a dupe, you just have to put more red or purple or silver to make it the way you want.

I tried Sea and Sky today and it is perfection! I also got pink split since it swatched so pretty on my finger but when I tried it on, and the pink color went away within a few minutes and just left gold sparkles and the other color was a crappy light taupe so I am returning it. There's really no other eye-shadows that I want.

I went to today and came away with Odd Couple and Hot Contrast, I wanted Polar Opposite but the silver looked horrible on my skin.
The MUA did a look on me with Hot Contrast and it looks amazing

My dh commented when he saw me, I'll post a pic of it later when I figure out how to water mark it and where to put it.

I am wearing Fresh Green Mix today, and I can't believe I am saying this, but I like this one even better than Sea and Sky! I have the lime side on my lid with the marbled side in the crease, and Humid e/s in the outer V. Gentle blush one the cheeks, and Hue l/s and VGVI l/g on the lips. My new favorite look! Still debating Polar Opposites... I love these MES!

Did you mix Mi'Lady or use trax? I did this with trax last night (with charred) and I LOVED the combo.. I was glad I found something to make-up for not getting Hot Contrast... That was my favorite out of the collection.
