Sea & Sky... a major departure from my usual colors....
Yesterday, I used the solid blue over Iris Eyes Fluidline...& I got the most intensely beautiful Violet color....ahhhh....I used that color with a damp brush, & the rest of the colors with a damp brush, swirling them all together, & stroking a bit of the silvery
colour inside near my nose bridge....very Metallic, gorgeous look
(according to

my SM (SoulMate)

Bunny - yeah, thats what i'm talkin about! You look amazing! Only I did my red a lil more subtle...cause I'm a wuss

And, do you - or anybody - erine...know about the color of the eyeshadow Concrete? Its used on the face chart with Polar Opposites. Nordies doesn't carry it so I'm assuming MAC store/online only?

TIA

I thought it was odd that the Love Connection that I saw on display at Nordies today did not have the pretty violet tone on the melange side that the one I got from the site had.

I'm right there with you. I swore up and down that I'd only get two and I have five! I just couldn't pass these up. The colors and consistency is sooo much better than the Flashtronic and even Antiquitease ones. I really hope the future MES they come up with are like these ones. They remind me so much more of the first generation MES and MES duos.

Thank you! And Concrete is a store exclusive eyeshadow. But it is actually the color I used on my eyebrows! Haha, so you can see it there. =P I have a little Show-Off Brow Set too though.

And thank you Cheryl and Rbella.

Bunny -
Do you think it would make a good color with Polar Opposites? I just love how the eyes look on the face chart PO. I don't think I have any thing close to this color - maybe brun? which is probably darker than concrete?

TIA

If you look at the Look Details....don't they really only use concrete to fill the brows on that face chart tho?

I just read the list & never considered it would be used for the brows...well duh

Scratching that off of my list. Thanks

I kept thinking that it might have been nice as part of the base color.

So... I went to the store to finally buy Fresh Green Mix... and I got attitude when I asked to select my own shadow. I thought the one she selected for me didn't have enough blue, aqua veining, so I asked to see others with more colour.

She said they all went on the same.

I ended up picking the one I wanted, but that was a first for me. MAs are usually more understanding, she was new that I think about it.

I love reading the Look Details because they often do interesting things I wouldn't have necessarily thought of. In one of those looks, for example, they layer Dainty & Pleasantry - I bet that makes a beautiful shade! Sometimes it also it helps me to focus on the look that uses my color brows for figuring out which colors from a collection might work best on me.

I didn't see that about Dainty & Pleasantry...thats funny because I posted that I used that combo last week I think. Those colors are very pretty together. I must just get lost looking at the pretty pictures instead of reading

I am so glad I picked this one up! Haven't used it yet, and I was hesitant to get it at first, but seeing a pic like that would have made me run out and get it if I hadn't already!

Thanks BunnyBunnyBunny!
