out of curiosity has anyone compared the mono side of odd couple to any of the ben nye purple shadows...i want to get that palette but i want to know if these colors are similar or not so i can either get odd couple or not.

I now have a new appreciation for Pink Split. Wasn't too crazy about this one at first, because the pink didn't show up that much. But today I tried it over Girl Friendly PP, gorgeous! It makes the pink pinkier and the grey shows up a little better also. Now I need to try Odd Couple over Girl Friendly.

Also, I first applied the ArtDeco e/s base and then the paint pot and I honestly got far less fall out because the shimmer seemed to stick better.

I'm thinking I might get a CCB to use under these. I figure either Luna or Pearl...but I'm leaning more toward Luna because the white will make the color pop more. Or, I could just get both...hmmm

Get Luna CCB! It does amazing things!! I swear that it makes colors look amazing and vibrant. I have been using Luna with my sea & sky and haven't been disappointed!

Anyone have been coming up with interesting combinations for the lipglasses? I have Major Minor and Sonic Vibe and I looooove trying new combos

I did California Dreamin, with Sonic Vibe and Palatial over it and that was pretty nice.

I wore play on plums today but it dint seem like it was plum. What color is it? I am just not knowing at all.

I jut love this whole colleection. I didnt think I would cause I have tried the other mineralize shadow but I really love these!!

its not supposed to be plum. the name is an odd fit for this one. its a bronzy-burgany color.

Bases...I cannot help myself from talking about Fluidlines...
I find them to be the most amazing bases for many shadows...If I want extra *extra* long coverage, I'll use UDPP 1st, but meanwhile, I'm having so much fun experimenting with my Hot Contrast & my Sea & Sky over various fluidlines.

Being the purple addict I am, I could no longer bear the suspense - Finally, Today, on went my *~*Beloved*~* Delineate Fluidline, & guess what I put over it...I used the Dark Blue side of Sea & Sky, & the result? Ah...sigh...A Most Splendid Royal Purple...ooooh.....The shade showed shimmer & irredescence...

The resultant purple shade may appear too Dark for some, or only for an Evening look; my hubby thought it was Black shadow I'd used, when he first glimpsed, in Shadowy, late-Afternoon Light...

But my hubby wanted to see the m/u in the Light, & then he insisted on photographing me outside, ~in the Sun~ when he arrived home.

If you do have Fluidlines, although they are each a colour (or colours) unto themselves, play around with these MES (or any shadows, for that matter.) You may have surprising results....

I've been wearing Sonic Vibe over everything & by itself. Its quickly become my most favorite-est lipglass ever! I'm debating a back-up but I don't want it to go rancid. Can anybody tell me a perm dupe?

The great thing about this one though is that it doesn't seem nearly as sticky as the perm lipglasses.

My fave combo has been The Scene l/s (from Stylistics) with Sonic Vibe over it. Hot hot hot rasberry combo!

Get Odd Couple. It would look gorgeous on you. The purple is so very pretty with brown eyes and the bronze in the melange is great on the inner corners. It's the only one I've gotten so far since I've spent entirely too much money on MAC this summer.

Why did they have to make so many beautiful choices? Hasn't MAC seen the economy? Oh...yeah...SIGH...duh!

I am not one to buy everything from a collection, or even from most (nor could I afford to be.) Yet, after purchasing these 2 MES, (Hot Contrast & Sea & Sky), I am obsessing over Cult of Cherry. I *know* I am going to *yearn* for something ... so I better get with my own program of remembering the world holds people who have nothing to eat...

I want too much. Stress makes it worse.
Applying the makeup, post-conquest (I mean The Purchase) relieves my stress, too...

Yeah, Play on Plums really is an odd name for whatever that mono color is, but it's beautiful nonetheless. It's one of those shades that will "morph" depending on what you're wearing with it. It'll appear more purple if you wear purples with it (I'm wearing it with Circa Plums), but I'll bet it'll appear more bronzey if it's worn with browns, or more burgundy if worn with reds/pinks. At any rate, I think this one is going to be far more versatile than I had originally thought.

Maybe, if I still have money left.

I got my Hot Contrast today! So Happy! There's not TONS AND TONS of red in it, but there's a few chunks of it that are nicely red.

But yeah, go me for lemming Odd Couple still. XD
