^^^ I was hoping that i didnt like them either but yeap im definitely going to get Melrose Mood....Fast Thrill looks a little too "pearly" for my taste...Both Major Minor and Sonic Vibe will be mine!...and Culture Clash looks like 20 pink lipglasses that I already own!....Im really digging Fresh Green...that green is too pretty to pass up!

I still think I'm getting the black one. I'm sooo bad at names right now. Hot Contrast?

So ladies, do we think these will be the same glitter fallout as the last set??? (hope this hasn't been asked/answered yet) Gawd I hope not!! PLEASE.

From all the pics, it really doesn't look like hardly any glitter, maybe a bit of shimmer.

I copied and pasted from Tinkerbelle's blog. She said this about the MES:
"I'm not a great mineralize e/s lover, because usually the color payoff is minimal, great for a light wash of color with glitters but not very pigmented. But in the case, it's very different, the pigmentation of the e/s is very good,especially the "mono" part of the duo e/s. The "melange" half of the e/s is more sheer, but that works great together!"

I am trying to cut down my list. I have Polar Oppsites on my list, since I love silvers, but do I really need it if I have the Gentle Fumes quad, Electra and Scene e/s and full jars of Silver Fog and Sweet Sienna Pigment? Someone tell me no.

Well that is good to hear, that I won't have a nuclear case of fallout when I do my makeup...

I'm definitely interested in at least taking a peek of Sonic Vibe if it is indeed like Malibu Barbie because I love it from the pics I have seen and BLM came out before I got into high-end makeup.

yeah audrey, i hear you, I think you can be strong an avoid polar opposites.

what was there this past holiday, i think it was family silver mes duo? I managed to pass on it, though it looked pretty.

like you, i have silver fog pigment, sweet sienna, but not electra/scene but yet i still think i can pass. yay!

be strong girl, there's so much more to lust after!

Saw the eyeshadows today in person (my MAC counter had some samples in already and showed me them). Got to say I definitely liked Play on Plums, Two To Glow and Odd Couple the most. The rest just seemed kind of garish to me especially the red and black - Hot Contrast. The MA also said apparently that MAC are planning to have a perm. stand of mineralize products (seeing as they already do the MSFs and the foundations) including eyeshadows/blushes etc. It sounded really awesome anyways!

Yay! Those are the exact two I want.

And yeah, not really wanting Hot Contrast anymore. I do think it's pretty.. but yeah, I need to cut my list down.

I just thought the more toned down colours were a lot more classy and wearable. Just my opinion but usually I think MACs bright colours are beautiful, really dazzling and these just left a lot to be desired. The blue and green just didn't seem special in comparison to those say from Cool Heat.

Makes my life easier anyways - don't have to buy as many now!

Still jonesing for Odd Couple and Love Connection (haven't seen swatches of the latter though). I think I might end up using Love Connection as a blush...

I bet I will go to the counter in person, and something will REALLY surprise me, and I will end up getting that, instead of the 2 I just mentioned. Grrrr.

After Cool Heat and reorganizing my palettes, I feel like I can pass on Sea and Sky, even though they look so pretty. I have all the Cool Heat shadows, Submarine, Parrot, RR Blue pigment, Bell-Bottom Blue, Blue Storm pigment, and some other blues that I'm probably forgetting. I think I just need to be reassured that I can pass on this. Right...?

I got a sneak peek of these at my counter today from my fav MA, all I can say is : VIBRANT! quite gorgeous and im not even a fan of MSF e/s so thats a surprise for me
Fresh green, sea and sky, and hot contrast we're my favs. They were the most vibrant, these have great color payoff as well.

Yeah, I think so. I'm just not really feeling this collection too much, other than the lippies. I kinda feel like we've seen these colors before, it's just that MAC now put them in a mineralized form.

I saw these at my counter today as a sneak peak from an MA, in my opinion, I loved sea and sky but I wont be buying it, if you have lots of blues this isnt a musthave in my opinion... I think it would be a waste of money for us (like myself) who have a full palette of blues already.

Oooh, please tell us more! Enable me! I LOVE MES and I am trying so hard to decide which ones I want. Sea and Sky and Fresh Green are my only 2 definates. What did you think of Odd Couple and Polar Opposites? Did you see the lip stuff too? Oh, I am so jealous that you got to seeeeee!
