I think for the first time I'm going to do swatches on these because I ended up buying 5 of the eye-shadows and these are my first Mineralized eye-shadows.
I fell in love with the way they looked on my skin.
I agree the dark blue in Sea and Sky is AMAZING!!! I also purchased Two of Glow, Polar Opposites, Pink Split, and Odd Couple.

I fell in love with the way these swatched in the store, so I picked up two to glow, pink split & play on plums. But now that I have them home I'm having serious buyers remorse. I'm having trouble getting the colors to actually show up on my eyes- I've tried UDPP & paint pots as a base & still no luck. Also I am getting TONS of glitter fall-out. They remind me of the Vincent Longo diamond eyeshadows (which I hate!)
Please tell me I am doing something wrong on application- I really want to love these!
On the upside, I'm LOVING my Fast Thrill Lipstick!

So i went in with the plan to just get fresh green mix and sea and sky and walk out and i ended up checking out hot contrast and polar opposites. The hot contrast that they had on display was just like someone else had mentioned and the mixed side had a wonderful mix of red and black so you got a cherry black color. I fell in love with it...sooooo pretty!!! Of course when she went to take out the ones they had out none had really good veining. I felt so bad asking her to see if they had one similar to the tester they had out but she was sooo sweet about it!! I love the MA's at my counter!! She did a look with Polar opposites on one eye and pink split on the other so i could compare and you could barely see the color from pink split on me even with a base. I loved the nice toned down silvery smokey eye she did on me though and so i had to get polar opposites as well. I ended up being picky about that one too and i felt so bad but i wanted one that had a decent purple vein in it so i could get that deep purple metallic color that i got from the tester. She was so sweet and got some out for me to choose from. I noticed that there was fall out from Polar Opposites but i think if i use it wet i wont have to worry about that. It's sooo sparkley though!! The mono blue in sea and sky is stunning and i can't compare it to anything that i have!! The mix side was a pretty baby blue i probably can compare it to moon flower or some other shadow i have but the mono blue is totally worth it. Fresh Green Mix mono side is gorgeous!! Exactly the green that i was looking for and it swatched great on me!! The mix side is pretty as well so even though i spent more then i wanted to on this collection it was worth it. I know that i will definately put these shadows to use.

You're allowed to apply these wet at least that's what the MUA said. Moisten your brush slightly and then apply shadow to the brush and see how it comes out. Also use a packing brush so alot gets on the brush. Hope this helps!

I went to look at the new collections, and as in past, the Bay is not being sent all the collection at once. Very annoying, as I wanted to see Polar Opposite and Odd Couple, as well as Green Mix, which I bought. I also got a couple of the mineralize blushes, and Mellow Mood (for me, it's love).
I used the 'melange' side of the Green Mix - it has a big streak of this greeny pale aqua, which I just love - I was really sad that Mood Ring was part of a palette with two colours I didn't want. So, I like this aqua a lot more, and am really glad to have such a heavy vein of it. I haven't tried the other veins (I wonder if the MA picked out a really well defined one for me - the veins are all really wide and well defined), or the main green, yet - but am super excited. This MES is by far superior to the ones from last summer, and Christmas. I'm definitely going back to check out the others I wanted, soon as they get them in. *sigh*

Oh God can anyone describe the color so i can say if I have to have Sonic Vibe or Culture Clash or not? Like SERIOUSLY, could I go without? Are there *really* dupes??

Sonic Vibe is the perfect summer pink for me.....umm I think i was matched to a NC35 (i no longer use MAC on my face so I hope that number exists LOL)
It's not too sheer and kinda reminds me of a baby's lips...hope that makes sense.
I swatched Culture Clash on my hand and the description of bubble gum pink is pretty accurate....

Seriously, culture clash looks like some sort of bubblegum/cotton candy confection. The sparkle in it is so gorgeous.
Sonic vibe is a nice pink with a splash of berry in it. It looks great over all pinks. I especially love it over scanty. I would say that would be the best way for me to describe how it looks on me. Kind of like a scanty-ish lipgloss? I don't know if that makes sense. But, it would also look fantastic with just a lipliner. You could use Dervish, Cranberry even something like Lure. Sonic Vibe has worked with almost everything I've paired it with.....Can you tell I love it?

I got Sea and Sky and Fresh Green Mix yesterday. I love them! I'm wearing Sea and Sky with Solar White and Climate Blue from Cool Heat today and it's just beautiful!

I picked up Fresh Green Mix, Hot Contrast, Sea and Sky and Odd Couple. I wasn't expecting to like Hot Contrast but OMG, I *DO*!! I think this combo will be perfect for me to finally learn how to do a smoky eye.
None of the l/s or l/g were a standout for me. Dangerously Hot made me look like a goth (NW15) and is incredibly close to the Commitment Longwear, Mellow Mood was too close to Syrup and completely disappears on my lips, Fast Thrill (a lustre) is lost on my lips, and Vanities Child...well...I liked the slight tint it gave me.
The l/g were pretty much the same. Sonic Vibe is so close to Viva Glam IV I'd say its a dupe, Major Minor was Syrup in a l/g form, Lil' Hot Pepper was not the beautiful red I thought it was going to be and Cultureclash, while beautiful, was way too close to my Crystal Rose to purchase.
The MESs are hotter than hot! The lip products I'm *happy* I can do without!!
ETA: I wanted to clarify my Cultureclash comment; while Cultureclash is a true bubblegum pink and Crystal Rose is more of a hot shimmery pink, they did the same thing on *my* lips. Didn't want to confuse anyone!

Oh damn it. Now I dont know if I should get sonic vibe or not. well you know what, I dont have the viva glam gloss, so I'll get sonic vibe........
still dont know about cultureclash. I have a lottt of pink lippies and I dont really reach for them all that much.....but this sounds gorgeous....
