Awww, I hope the purple one can be worked with. Its the only one I got my hands on LOL (still in the mail). I'm gonna try it over Nice Vice and maybe even HIP Eggplant eyeliner as a base...

Just got mine...it is pretty! Its like a Baby Sparks wanna be or Baby Sparks Jr. with a lil more pink to it. It made my lips look really full too.

So despite swearing off frosts I picked up Fast Thrill at my counter today. I don't always look so great in pinks but I am really liking this over subculture or gingerroot.

Maybe somebody has already mentioned this, but I just hopped in.

I haven't been able to read what I've wanted to

I wonder if anyone else uses Fluidlines as a base for the shadows? I absolutely *swear* by Delineate, for my crazier, more dramatic looks, as well as Macroviolet; I use Brassy or Uppity for golds, browns, or reds, & Iris Eyes for
my slightly less dramatic, frequent purple looks. (I'm a Purple addict!)
I'm hoping Lithograph will be great with Sea & Sky (my 1st real Mac Blues.)
I won't even get into the Beauty I see with Blacktrack or Blitz & Glitz as a base...I want to do some more experimenting.

If I'm hoping the colors will last more than 12 hours or so, I'll use UDPP beneath, & *then* a fluidline, if I want extra Intensity.

Off to Story Hour at the local library now...

Fluidlines do make great bases for shadows, more than pigments IMO. B/c it is less moist and it dries fairly quickly than paintpots and CCBs. Pigments need something to stick on like paints, CCBs and such.
But yes I agree, fluidlines do bring out the intensity of some shadows than anything.

I'm not so into frosts either, but it depends. Can you describe the color. I think with the frost its a little harder to get a good pic of it.

I wore the mono side of Pink Split as a blush today. It's great if you want just a little glow, but probably not so much for color. I topped it off with a bit of Mocha blush since I wasn't wearing much else today. Who knows, the color might show up better if I were a little more pale, but since it's summer, I've gotten a bit of color to my face.

Hmmm...probably not as well as you could but I'll give it a whirl. I'd call it a soft yet bright (I hope that makes sense) mid-tone pink that although it's up in the cool area of the color spectrum on the MAC lipstick page it's warm enough to work on someone with yellow undertones.

So, now I'm thinking I need Play on Plums and maybe Fresh Green Mix. Dammit.

OOOH, Play on Plums is gorgeous! You deffo should pick it up!

Don't pass up Hot Contrast...its Hot! I love one thin sweep of just the black from lash line to crease, then just a lil of the silver side of Polar Opposites on the brow bone (or you can skip this). It looks reallly sexy (even daytime appropriate if you do a light appl.)

Its really great paired up with any of the new MB colors & a subtle Tendertone lip color or Sonic Vibe l/g

Guys, I think I found an Odd Couple dupe in my Urban Decay Deluxe Palette...
Now I can justify getting Sea and Sky to the bf, cuz technically I already had these colors
greengrin.gif

On the left is the UD shadows in Fishnet and Shag
On the right is the Odd Couple duo.
