did a search for this in the thread and didn't get any hits, but sorry if it's been answered and my searching skills are just bad...

how does cockney compare to port red? i use my port red so sparingly because i'm afraid of using it up, and it's the perfect red for me... but if i can get a pseudo-backup with cockney, i'd be a happy happy girl!

Is it more pink or brown (please Lord no poo)? How does it compare to the N lippies? It looks more brown on, thats why I'm asking.

It's truly a neutral pink. I don't find it brown but it's definitely not cool. It's sheer but not so sheer that my pigmented lips are a problem. I tried Brave New Bronze again and still HATED it. Patisserie is nothing like it. Of the N lipsticks I'd guess it's closest to 3N iirc, but it seems to have a touch of shimmer to it. It's pretty. Really.

I CANNOT wait for Patisserie, Costa Chic and Naked Paris!.

I bought Brave New Bronze not too long ago so I'm glad to hear Patisserie isn't anything like it. I want it, but don't want to own anything similar. lol

So, the ups guy shows up...I run out, "excuse me" (I'm smiling) um, I have a delivery coming tomorrow, & its a tube of lipstick (I'm thinking this guy may think I'm wacked) & its soooo hot & I really don't want it to melt (I'm laughing inside) Do I have to be the last delivery of the day? I smile

He tells me that he has a delivery up the road from me at a business & I can meet him there at 11am to pick it up - & then he gives me his freakin cell #!!!!

I come in & hubby says, what was that all about. I showed him the ups paper - I said, Oh, he just gave me his cell # hahahahahaha

I got the endearing hubby eye roll

Well, I flipped when I saw the red dazzleglass, Rue D'Rouge. Ordered THREE right off, and if I love it as much as I suspect, will consider more from the store locally, since it's LE. I can't believe MAC is so boneheaded as to not have a red-red dazzler in the permanent collection. Dweebos.

I also ordered Cockney, which I think will look gorgeous UNDER Rd'R, and ordered Roman Holiday and London Life. But it's the red dazzley that has me all excited.

If they had the 25% off still working, I'd have gotten one or two more of those.

Mirtika<---wearing red lipstick with Love Alert dazzleglass on top today with my Acapulco Red toes. After my pink period, and my coral period, I'm back in my red-red-red period.

Ok so my dazzley lovelies will be here soon, and then I picked up 3 lippies today lol, so I'm done with this! I got Costa Chic, Milan Mode, and London Life from Nordies today, and a job offer to work for MAC lol. But it's a little too far for me at the moment but I felt pretty good about myself lol. I had been thinking of applying lately...but anyways, I did notice that CC and LL had new packaging, like the imprinted barcode and name on the box, but yet Milan Mode didn't, but oh well I love em! That's funny with the UPS guy though, ours wouldn't go above and beyond like that for us lol.

Do you guys think they'd allow me to B2M for a dazzleglass, or is that pushing it?.

Already picking up (most likely) 3 l/s, would be nice to try a dazzleglass for the first (GASP!) time and get rid of MAC empties in one swing.

I'm probably on too much of a lavender kick but that light lilac -- and red dazzle -- is sparking interest.

I was def NOT excited until I saw swatches from Temptalia .

Damn me I want patisserie l/s and naked paris l/g . As for the dazzleglasses I'll probably only get internationalist .

But hm I'm hearing from you guys that patisserie is awesome .. but Temptalia said it's a skip . Guess I'll have to try it on in store .
