MAC Extra Dimension discussion

I'd say it's a metallic wet-look shimmer, similar to foiling Goldstone, though the EDSF do not have any noticeable glitter. If you are unsure to what extent they emphasize skin imperfections, I strongly recommend that you try them in person.

Also, it is crucial that you know your face and bone structure to use the EDSF strategically to shape and sculpt your face using the right tools. A paint-on brush (189, 128, 191) followed by a buffer brush are essential. IMO, the 179 is by far the best choice as the angle lets you shape and buff at the same time. A flat kabuki like the 183 or a rounded one like the 182 were not my favorite for this SF.

You really want the most control you can get.
OMGosh! I'm getting so excited for these. Thanks for the brush info. I have to check all the numbers to see which of these brushes I have. I'm definitely getting all 3 of these.

You can sheer them out very well. They can definitely be used all-over. Perfect for the oh-so-fashionable Ath-elite look.

There`s something wrong with me I don`t want any of these, I don`t like how they look. I`m more tempted to spend my money on some drugstore stuff from ulta sale than buy these. I think i reached mac saturation and i`m craving other brands!

Definitely WoG and SH. Probably another 2-3 es until I know for sure I love the texture. I'm a sucker for almost EVERY es you swatched, so I need to be careful that I am not continuously buying the same colors unless I'm REALLY excited about the texture... which seems will be the case with this collection! To be honest, I'm a little overwhelmed... Again! I've been feeling this way about MAC a lot lately. I just have so much MAC. I need to at least TRY and be more selective. Swatches help TONS, so thanks again doll!
If you had to pick top favs from this collection in your opinion, what would they be?

You are welcome. What's on your list, Pixie?

I wore Sweet Heat for about 8 hours using a paint pot as a base (I always use a p/p or a paint) and I had no creasing.

But I have to say that I have very dry skin and hardly/never any problems with creasing.

Does anybody know if the eyeshadows crease?

I posted some example and face charts a while back (I believe it was in the Early Buzz thread).

Basically, Ath-Elite is a super dewy, moisturized skin look where lots of highlighting is used to create a sporty, plump skin. It's beautiful for the summer and very flattering on a wide range of age groups.

Nah there is nothing wrong with you! Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Several MAC collections have come out that i don't choose to spend my money on too. I'm sure you will find something else somewhere that you will fall in love with or enjoy using! .

Lou, you will certainly be able to wear all three shades. The one on the right will serve as a fantastic bronzer once it gets warmer. You can sheer it out to match your complexion.

The shadows looks a-mazing. I am sooooooo in trouble. Not interested in the skinfinishes. I have about 4-5 already which are plenty for me, I know these are different but I've gotta be choosey.

You might want to try at least one SF. They are very innovative in terms of new technologies and formulas, so you don't want to miss out.

But I know it is hard to budget, especially as so many collections come out at once.
