You depotted your ED eyeshadow without any effort! Look at it that way! WOW! I like everything depotted, but wasn't going to attempt these(or MES)... BUT your pic on the other hand gave me an idea...

Thank you for posting this. I know you want a new e/s, and I am sure you will get a new one, but that is really interesting to see.

***edit*** what is the back of the actual e/s look like? Is that a metal backing and a bit of glue I see?
I got my black boxes today and everything was great until I pulled out my grand galaxy (which i think is my favorite color!) and I flipped the shadow over to have the clear plastic cover fall off since it is just easier that way, as I always do, and out came the shadow!!!!! I hope that this is not an issue with the shadow - prolly just a fluke but thought i would tell you to be careful just in case you get a little surprise like i did! i reordered since I can't get to a mac store until saturday and i am not taking chances of it selling out!

Beautiful! I love Grand Galaxy!

My apologies if I look a bit sweaty here, it's so hot in the upstairs of my house. (We're holding out with overhead fans and open windows, at least until May.)
I've got Blue Orbit on the inner halves of my lids with Grand Galaxy on the outer halves. Full of Joy is on the cheeks, and WMS on the lips.

Lol so true!!!!! No heat or sharp tools involved! It is interesting how the shadows are affixed into the pot though!

here are some more close-up pics - the back of the shadow itself has nothing on it - it just has the indentations of the plastic meshing that is underneath in the actual pot itself where the shadow would sit on and some writing which is too faint for me to really read - the pot has plastic mesh with a plastic disc in the center - a very unusual attachment system!

That is too cool!

Thank you for posting these close ups! The e/s looks pretty much intact... I really am going to *try* to depot mine this weekend, thanks to you!

I like everything in one palette, neat and in order. I am OCD like that.

Tomorrow I will be team 10. Going to my MAC store to get the 3 e/s I didn't get, plus BUs of the highlighters.

Grand Galaxy eyeshadow all over my lids, Sweet Heat eyeshadow to highlight the inner corners of my eyes
Immortal Flower blush on my cheeks

I know this is totally off topic.... but has anyone told you that you look exactly like a prettier version of victoria beckham?

It might be too dark, light colors are a better choice for deep set eyes. You can pair it with a lilac or pink eyeshadow, but I wouldn't apply Grand Galaxy all over the lids like I did.

Just what I thought, I purchased the lighter ones for that reason then I can just use: parfait amour, trax, sketch etc in the crease..............

Can someone tell me what the finish (of the eyeshadows) are like on normal-dry skintypes?
In some swatches they look so creamy and on other so chalky.

Anyone? Also, would they send an email when the correct items ship?

I have a quick question, as this has never happened to me. One of the orders I placed was for Whisper of Gilt and Warm thunder. MAC sent me another Superb and a lightscapade. I called them, and they're suppose to send me the correct items. She told me I could use the shipping label to mail the wrong items back. I don't need them because I ordered Superb in another order, and I already own lightscapade. Will they destroy these if I send them back? Kinda would rather see them go to a good home instead of being destroyed. Will they also hold on to the items I should have gotten until these are returned? In 6 years, this has never happened!

Glorify scares me. Anyone NC20 or so has used it? Will it make me look like an oompa loompa?

I have Glorify and it's lovely! I'have not wore it outside yet because imo it's a "summer", "sunny day" product and it's quite rainy here now. But if you apply it with a light end its not too strong at all!!
