I talked smack about this collection and now I am so excited about it, look what more swatches will do to ya. I am so nervous now, I want Lithe, so bad order from Bloomie's or wait on MAC. A nude version of Blonde's Gold is perfection to me, I love BG and if Lithe is anything remotely softer like it, OMG!!!

To me kittenish seems like a cool berry. It isn't really red even though my swatches kind of indicate that it is. I don't have dubonnet so I am not sure how close they are.

bloodline is swatched up pretty nice on temptalia. i love the little glitter bits in it.

are russian blue and nehru cousins? cause they look alot alike. palace pedigree looks familiar too.

MAC is doing a fabulous job at the pigments lately and I did a pre-order from Nordstrom, the girl was is Cali and she said the phone has been ringing non-stop for the past two hours, she sounded frazzled with all the pre-orders. I think I should be nervous about getting mine.

Bloodline is going to look so pretty with Satin Taupe, Subtle and Mauvement, basically taupey-neutral stuff. I'm in

After watching Temptalia's swatches I am thinking about Spree l/g. Soy my list should be Bloodline and Mauvement p/g, Definetely feline e/l and the l/g, tho then I should skip Strange potion from VV (need to save some of my budget for future collections and other brands ...

)

Which one do you like the most Spree from FF or Strange potion l/g from VV? Any help is more then appreciated

That's what I thought too, but if you look at the lower left hand corner of the page, you'll see options for French and English and if you look at the products, the prices are all in Canadian dollars. Looks like MAC decided to surprise and confuse us all by completely reconfiguring the Canadian web site to look like the US one (and the UK one, for that matter).

I'm still not really grabbed by anything in this collection. Perhaps because I already have colors I need. I'd like to try Treat Me Nice eyeliner, even though I hate liquid eyeliners...cause it's just so darn purty and I don't have anything like it. Smokey heir also looks pretty, but it probably won't look special enough from a distance to justify my buying ANOTHER purple eyeliner.

I'm also kinda interested in To Pamper l/s, because I love taupes. But I already have Call my Bluff and Fresh Brew (which are VERY similar), so if it's more of the same, I'll skip it.

Might look at the Palace Pedigree quad because I love doing a rosy, smokey eye and those colors look more cooler-toned than the pinks and roses I own.


By the way...if you're interested in the Burmese Beauty quad for Burmese Beauty e/s (the brown/green one), Too Faced has a very similar one called Label Whore and Lumiere Cosmetics has a loose pigment called chocolate mint. Both are brown with green duochrome. I mention this because it's not really worth buying an entire quad for one color.

Kittenish is lacking a certain ooomph even though I love the name. I prefer the look of Dark Deed which looks alot sexier to me based on temptalia's swatches of both colors.

I am still going to be getting this as I think it will work with many different colors and looks. The Leopard Luxe collection: Didn't look at anything in this collection but the quad & Lithe pigment. Three of the colors in the quad are okay but OMG Furiously Fabulous which is the black veluxe pearl is so amazing! I really shouldn't buy a quad for one color but I think I might. All of the colors in this quad would look gorgeous especially on WOC. Lithe pigment is really pretty. It is a camel brown color with a bit of gold shimmer and I was totally wowed by it. I think that it is one of those colors that you can just pat on your lid and walk out the door. It seems really versatile and that it would work with most skintones. Burmese Beauty Collection: Again this collection I didn't really spend a whole lot of time looking at as the store was closing. The product I was most interested in was Kittenish lipstick. It was everything I hoped it would be. It is an opaque deep merlot color and it feels like a lustre (even though it is a creamsheen). Again this would look good on almost anyone and it is perfect for fall. I really was excited to try out spree lipglass but it looked to caramel colored on me so it was a skip. I also really like the look of jealous lipglass and I think I might get it for the unique factor. The quad in this collection I really didn't get a chance to look at. The brushes are sooooo small. I am not sure what I expected but I was really suprised. Lastly, the superslick liners are so awesome and I am so glad these are going to be part of the regular line. The ones that were the standouts to me were Smoky Heir, Nocturnal (prettiest silver liner EVER!), Pure Snow (great for holiday looks), and Marked for glamour. I took a couple of swatch pictures too: Top to bottom: Lithe Pigment, Bloodline Pigment, Superior Lipstick, Of Royalty Lipstick, Aristo-cat Lipstick, Kittenish Lipstick Lipglsses on the left hand side (top to bottom): Jealous Lipglass, Best of Breed, Spree Same colors different angle. Superslick Liners from Left to Right: Smoky Heir, Signature Blue, Nocturnal, Definatly Feline, Desire & Devices, Treat Me Nice, Pure Snow, Marked for Glamour (didn't swatch black liner). Sorry this post was so super long. Hopefully it helped someone!

The swatches are amazing Katie!! Also, thanks for the review! I'm going to skip Of Royalty l/s since it's dupable and maybe skipping Best of Breed l/g.

Yes! You are actually on the new CND site which looks like the US one and i friggin' HATE it!!! Its so hard to navigate, its dark, and i find it very unorganized. The better switch us back already!

And Temptalia is taking forever to load today. I keep refreshing the page but only get on for a bit and then it won't load again. I saw she posted a message about too many trolls today though. Need to see swatches!
