Tiger looks absolutely adorable! It breaks my heart to read your post and I am truly sorry you had to lose her like that. I hope you'll heal with time. You must be devastated right now but please recover soon because I'm sure Tiger would be sad to see you cry. We're all here for you.

Oh, I am so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I found my cat Butterscotch like that when I was 14. He liked to play chicken with the cars...

I really hope you feel better soon. Tiger was a beautiful kitty. I think it's always more difficult when you don't get to say goodbye.

I'm at a loss for words. I feel your pain.
When I lost my dog, I couldn't imagine myself ever smile again.

try using nice vice paint pot as a base of you have 9it. that really brings out the purple. i actually quite like using mauvement wet on my lid. the dry in the crease and the use dazzlelight as a highlight. super simple but makes for a nice smokey eye that isn't too much for day time!

I swear there's nothing that makes me sadder than hearing about the loss or a sickness of an animal (esp. cats). It's like a switch is turned on and immediately I'm in tears...how embarrasing!

Thanks again for all the kind words everybody. It was hard to sleep last night and not think about it and i just keep torturing myself because i specifically said the night before that i didn't want her going outside and she was let out but in truth, she always goes out. It could even happen to us going out or to school/work so its just a terrible accident. Its hard to get the image of her and the other cat laying in the truck but i'll remember her in happier times. Oh crap now i'm crying at work!!! Thanks for all the support, i knew i'd find tons of cat & pet lovers here. I'm trying not to obsess over it and just give myself that time to grieve and hopefully be able to look at her pics with a big smile instead of tears.

Take a look at my signature pic. She is gone since last September, but she is with me every day. I miss her a lot - sometimes I wish I could touch and hear her just one more time. I can still see her sitting in the sun in the garden or at other places she loved.
I know somehow she is still with me and I keep all the happy memories.

I actually burst into tears when i first posted in this thread yesterday Susanne because i saw your cats pic and she looks very similar to Tiger so i lost it! Thanks for the sweet words. I had a cat for 14 years who died of cancer in '07 but i knew it was coming so i was a bit more mentally prepared even though my boyfriend had to practically carry me out of the vet because i couldn't move. The loss of Tiger has just been so sudden and unexpected. I keep crying at work. Tiger did her job though, she healed my heart from the loss of my first cat and showed me i could open my heart again and love. I'm lucky to have two more beautiful kitties at home who are missing her too!

My co-worker (who was also in tears when my mom came in-she is a cat lover too) went on her lunch break and bought me a cute cat angel pin and a mini book on cat quotes. I'll post some of them later on! They are sweet and very true!

that is incredibly sweet of her. and i think you're very strong for going into work today to be honest. i don't think i could manage it. and also don't keep beating yourself up because Tiger was outside alot. kitties are meant to be outside exploring. i don't have my 2 outside because one is too scared of people and things and the other i'm scared would never come home. but i know that dylan would kill to go outside and play.... so i bet Tiger was really happy he could go out. it's just unfortunate what happened

She would always meow to go outside and so does my other cat Phantom so i always "trusted" she would be okay outside. I just keep wondering why and how this could happen??? And to her? And who leaves two dead cats on the side of the street? Its sick and it was very hard to get myself to stop picturing every possible scenario as it will just do me worse. But we can't change what is done as much as i wish i could. I know i have to go throught the grieving process now. I just can't wait until my tears turn into a smile when i think of her or see her pic. So glad i have Specktra for support!

I should email MAC and tell them they need to name a lipstick or something after Tiger! Or even a make-up brush. If she could get within reach, she would grab my brushes in her mouth and run off with it! Especially a blush or skunk brush! I use to tickle her nose with an old fan brush i never use. My other cats are scared of my brushes LOL awww ok happy memories, i actually smiled

HOTasFCUK, I am SO sorry to hear about Tiger. My heart breaks for you. Growing up, we lived on a very busy road, and we lost so many cats

I agree though, I think it is better to know the truth, and try and deal. When I was very young, one of my cats got hit, and my mom and dad told me she ran away because they were afraid of the effect the truth would have on me. Every night, I prayed that she would come back home, and after several years, my mom broke down after hearing me, and told me what really happened.

Being an animal lover is SO hard. Pets become such a part of you, and such a huge part of everyday life. It's so hard to lose them, especially suddenly. Hugs to you
