hehehe no, that's not what i meant! although the huge cat idea is cracking me up!

what i meant to say is that even though it's intentional, there's something slightly amateur-ish about these promo images as opposed to say GMLOL or TTB. it's different and i like it

Trying a darker gloss is definitely a starting point. You can also just try starting with a lipstick that's a little darker than what you generally wear now and working your way up. I think with your complexion it would look great!

Yes exactly! It's the first thing I noticed, that many of the products are repeated in the same image.

the other name/description that confused me was 'russian blue' from the palace pedigreed quad. the description is 'deep neutral grey' and i was thinking "blue... grey... what?" untill i found out that russian blue is a breed of cat. that's what you get for being a dog person!

so speaking of cats... one of the feral cats we feed was pregnant a couple of months ago. she had two kittens last year, but they died (we think - we never saw them after a week or so of seeing them every day

) so we figured these died too...

nope. she must have had them somewhere else about six weeks ago and just moved them to the little feral cathouse we have, because now we have three ADORABLE kittens frolicking around our backyard!

we're going to try to catch all of them in a couple weeks, once we're sure babies don't need mama for food anymore (two of them are eating the cat food we put out, one is not yet). mama needs to be spayed, and babies need to be socialized so we can bring them to a shelter. i just hope our two housecats don't freak out TOO bad while we have the kittens!
