Bobcats are lynx (I think I have the plural correct) as in "American Lynx" but they are not spotted (unless immature, i.e. kittens) My best guess of that picture is an ocelot, but the face looks a little boxy for that.

Could it be an adolescent cheetah perhaps?

(and I thought that undergraduate degree in Zoology would never amount to any good)...

i really like serval cats

they are stunning looking creatures! i think some people keep them as pets but don't think that is very good for them. but fabulous kitties!
