For once, I am glad that there are some repromotes.
That means that I already have some items or don't want some.

I would still wish that they made smaller collections and would space them out more. Seems that they are more and more LE items and that some of the permanent items are being discontinued...

I believe that the MAC marketing team doesn't have a lot of MAC addicts nor makeup artists. Some decisions are not coherent with makeup. More with money making...

My list isn't very far from that! Once I saw the swatches, I gave up on being good!

Not sure about the eye liquid liners at all. Are they permanent? It seems that they won't be very easy to apply. I still prefer pencils and fluilines that give you more control with a finger or brush.
If it is a marker pencil type, not for me really. They are usually too thick as well.

i'd only get back-ups if you use it EVERY day. the chances are something similar will be released in the near future [unless we're talking stereo rose/queen's sin

Why would Mac have products named Pet Me and Pet Me, Please? It sounds like it will create some confusion. I also noticed Liquid Lurex will be a repromote with this collection so maybe I can wait on that one.

Don't feel bad about backing up Go For It - that is a really unusual color, especially with the blue cast and being medium-toned rather than light or dark. I don't think it's going to come around again so soon, if ever. Even future dupes won't have the blue tone and subtle medium shade so perfectly like it does, I bet!

I love purple lipsticks - they really bring out my eyes - but everything is usually just slightly off and I have to be really careful to wear perfect foundation, just the right blush, lip liner and/or gloss to modify it, yadda yadda. Only GFI works perfectly for me right out of the tube. I'm gonna get a back up too!

Kittenish DOES look gorgeous, but it's going to be hard to narrow down which deep burgundy/plum will be the best this fall. Between FF and VV there are 3 or 4 choices just in lipstick (forget gloss too!) and swatches are going to be hard to determine from, considering dark colors like that really depend dramatically on your skin tone - as much as nudes, imo.

Whether you get Liquid Lurex now or later - lemme tell you....I saw it in person this week and you are going to want it, one way or another. It's a radical, kickass amazing color.

Imagine a lipstick that feels somewhere between a luster and a glaze on the lips that from one angle looks like an old gold/ antique gold subtly metallic frost, and from another angle all the tarnished gold disappears and looks like champagne pink sparkles set densely into a clear base!!! It's gorgeous and totally unique.

There are some other beautiful lipstick shades in this collection and lord knows they'll all need to be seen in person to be fully appreciated, but LL will be one of the top standouts for sure!

Well since this was talking about people's cats/pets pages back I had to post this since this happened today. I was riding on my route I'll be taking over this afternoon with a cover driver....someone that covers other routes when the regular one is out. I'd seen this lady before in the station and knew of her name from my b/f but she'd never seemed friendly. Well we had a nice time today and she was really nice and we were busy talking away and somehow I brought up Jubilee. I cant remember how it started but I was telling her about the cancer she had and then she told me how this one lady that works in the office whom I've met has a very sick kitty. She said from what I was describing it sounded the same ailment and from what she told me I was certain it was the same cancer. I instantly knew the horribleness of what she was going to go through and told her to please tell her to not put the cat through jaw surgery because the cancer always comes back and it's just too hard on the cat. We got to one of our stops when she got a call from her. I couldnt hear her on the other end but then heard the cover driver say "oh you had to put her to sleep today?" and then I heard the awful sobbing and I started crying and couldnt stop myself. Even know typing this I know how horrible she must feel and I wished so badly I could've known her cat was sick with this so I could hopefully provide some comfort. It was a great comfort to me to be able to post on a forum I found for owners of cats with cancer....just to have someone that went through the same thing. Anyway I just feel so badly for the lady...she had her cat for 13 yrs

. She has another one to at least comfort her and when Jubilee died I had nothing....just an empty house.....bahh I need to stop typing

yes they're permanent. the wand is somewhat like the penultimate liner, but the wand is on the cap like the other liquid liners. its pretty easy to apply.

Exactly! Go For It is perfect right out of the tube!

I'm going with Kittenish and Dark Deed as my two dark colors. I would get Cunning, but as I have mentioned before, my dry lips do not agree with frosts. Are there any other dark lipsticks I am forgetting????

I am so freakin excited. I was in Chattanooga Wednesday and of course stopped by the MAC counter and as I was chatting with the ma and she gave me so really cool news. It turns out that for this collection there is going to be an industry level event there in Chattanooga. They had the top execs of the company there a few days ago. She said this will be the ONLY one on this level on the east cost. I do not however know if this means for counters or if that includes stores.

I'm kind of surprised it was not going to be held here in Nashville at the pro store. But this is suppose to be a MAJOR 3 day event with a catwalk and all. Of course I signed up right away. It was like signing up for other stuff just a $50 giftcard purchase to reserve your spot.

My daughter will be back in school there then so no biggie on driving the two hours there. Can you believe my daughter does NOT want to go.

I'm like I'll be buying that much anyway so I can just buy your giftcard (not that she pays for anything herself anyway). I already had told her there's products she's gonna love. But she said nah I'm just not into makeup the way you are but thanks. If my mother had ever offered to take me and buy me makeup and clothes I'd be sittin in the car before she finished her sentence. I mean seriously

very true - most colours come out at varous points with mac which is why i rarely back up items.

i don't have any back ups, but i have girl about town and lickable that my mum bought me because i love hot pink lipstick and they're still in the boxes.

i wear different make up all the time so i don't really need to back anything up

all the things i use on a regular basis are permenant products anyway so the only way i'll run out is if they're discontinued... but all hell will break loose when that happens

Oh I was trying to eliminate something from my list. I want at least 7 of the dazzle lipsticks. Well, thanks for telling me. This one sounds beautiful! I tried a few of them in store but not this one. I really like these!
