I did much the same thing. I wasn't working when CoC came out, so I was only able to get a couple of items. Over time, I've managed to pick up some of the products that I missed and I figure I'll eventually be able to collect most of it. I hated not working at that time because it was one of the only collections to that point where I literally wanted to buy everything.

FF does look like it's going to have much the same effect. Happily, I'm working now, so I can indulge... I just have to be a little careful about how much I indulge.

I feel the same way. I was wearing Hipster the other day and I figured, even if Cunning is pretty similar, it's the type of colour I love to wear.

They do sound the same and i noticed that Liquid Lurex is first coming out this month with Digi Pops and then again with this collection. I was thinking this yesterday as i noticed some of the lipsticks are listed as Dazzle which i think i new so i guess they may keep that finish or just re-promote the Digi Pops lipsticks again.

sometimes the formula base is identical -- on revisions and reissues, they will add a bit more lavender or pink, and then rename it

not necessarily -- it might be better, or it might be a bit or a lot different.

What I mean is that products have a base color and the manufacturer can add or subtract more color to enhance, or more shimmer (mica) or glitter to change it up

but, a new collection does not mean an entirely new product!

So far, nothing in this collection has made me say, "Oh wow! I need that!" I kind of like the Palace Pedigree quad because I love doing a rosy, smokey eye. I'd have to compare the shades to a Stila trio I have. PP's looks cooler toned.

The green in the Burmese Beauty quad does look cool...in the promo pic. But I already have Too Faced's Label Whore and I have yet to see swatches, so can't say how it'll look on skin.

And I'll certainly try on the red and berry lipsticks. The lipglasses...meh. Maybe. Green sounds cool...on paper. But how well will it work in practice?

Despite all my "meh" about this collection, I'm still excited to at least try stuff on and give it a whirl.

I was wondering that too, because the photo makes it look *really* close to DP. I definitely want to check that out, because I'm hardly in a position where I need a dupe.

Also... I think I might need 'signature blue' liquid eyeliner (dark navy with soft pearl)!

I've been hearing people say that using a dark blue instead of a black liner really makes the whites of your eyes look whiter... sort of like lipstick with a blue undertone (I ADORE cool pinks!!!) makes your teeth look whiter...

I'm just wondering how noticeable the pearl will be in this liner...

I have been wanting Deep Purple awhile now, really drooling for it! But I don't want dupes either so if these are close, and if there will be swatch comparisons, I will get the better one. Or if these are very different I want both...
