I want to know if I'm the only one who can't do gloss over lipstick? I mean, not only do I not like having to carry two lip products around, but it looks awful on me. It seems, no matter the brand, the lipgloss always breaks down my lipstick, makes it look milky and patchy. Then my lips start peeling. I exfoliate my lips. Granted, I go through my rough periods, but when I do try gloss over lipstick I make sure my lips are at their best. Alas, it's a disaster. Oh well.

I'm pretty much the same. I feel like when I put lipglass on over lipstick, it takes the lipstick off and makes it inconsistent, and lipglass does dry my lips out a little when over lipstick. I usually do one or the other.

Um,

Folks, for real, this collection is DA BOMB!!!

I got a quick look at it tonight while I was at the MAC store with my enabling cousin.

It's nice to go shopping with an enabler!

The quads are gorgeous and the lippies are insane!

I wasn't planning on purchasing anything from this collection but I THINK! I've changed my mind.

I will def. crawl back to the MAC store sometime this weekend to take another look.

Were there any lippies that stood out to you? I keep going back and forth on these

No, the SH brushes are not smaller than the SE brushes!
As you can see in the pic the bristles have the same size - just the handle is shorter. I have no problem working with it.

yes i have the 129sh also and have difficulties with it because it is small.

Plus--BB and PP quad (PP quad sounds less glamourous that way, oops), all green, gray and brown eyeliners (thank goodness their perm and I can buy on an installment plan) and all the lippies on my original list. ON the FENCE: Lap of Luxury I am still holding out as a potential NO on LL quad because jeeze Louize I don't need any more gold/orange/blingy eyeshadows. I will hold out for a black single in the SF or VP finish.

i love this collection! lots of staple items that i could use, that I don't see released too often. Its been awhile since MAC has released some new deep berry lipsticks. I am totally into that. My list has pretty much stayed the same. What I really need is MAC to release a collection that I don't want anything from. I have been picking up alot this year. its probably because I did not buy new makeup by collection for a LONG time, I mean like years. I just got a gloss hear and there and just got back into it in the summer of '08.

i agree, they should let their collections hang around a bit.
