Tee hee....I had to reply to your post when I saw "pocketbooks". You must be near my age to be using that word
tong.gif
. My mom said it and my grandmom so I naturally said it. If I think about it all the women I knew in my homestate of Southeastern PA said Pocketbook but when I moved down to VA in 2001 no one knew what I was talking about! THey kinda made fun of me and I stopped saying it. There are lots of things I changed how I say due to people down here making fun of it....I wish I could get some of my PA slang back.

Part of me is saying be sensible and forget about them, another part is saying, look at the pretty colours!

The review about the amount also stuck out to me. I wear liquid liner almost everyday. Even when I use regular pencil liner most times I use the liquid over it for staying power.

I went over to UD's site. Even though they have great colors, theirs seem so dull compared to these that are being released. I feel like I will have to get them anyway.

Right there with you, Saadeh. I am such a cat lover, and a MAC cat collection is so fab, but honestly, there is nothing in this collection that is a must have for me. I can dupe most of the colours with what I already have.

I don't think Lithe looks like Naked at all, even from swatches online. Naked does nothing for me, mine has a lot of sparkles and it doesn't work on me. I think Lithe is going to be divine, if it's not, back it goes and I will finally pick up a full tub of Blonde's Gold p/g and be done with it.

I personally love Your Ladyship p/g than Naked and never really got the hype of Naked but to each her own skintone.

I love naked, but like I said before, it's nothing like Lithe. Lithe is warmer and has fine shimmer. I forgot that Naked has shimmer, but I don't remember it being particularly noticeable on me. I think Lithe is warmer.

I wish I was into make up when Your Ladyship was around. Oh, well.

Shontay, there will always be new pigments coming around, and maybe they will repromote Your Ladyship at some point.

i've got glosses from 2004 that are still very vanilla-y!

I have wanted Mauvement for aggggggges! But all this "chunky" talk is worrying me
ssad.gif
I have never ever bought a full size piggie because, while great value, it was always too steep a price for me that I never took the plunge. Now with the size change, it's even worse. I often come close to buying full size but then change my mind. Grrr.

So I am really trying to decide on this one.
th_dunno.gif
I don't want to miss it yet again if I will truly love it. I am not sure that I will be getting to a store/counter soon.

Does anybody find Mauvement difficult to work with?

I find it chunky. I gave it away.

Tee hee

Yeah I figured it was an age thing and/or a regional thing....explains why the people here in VA didn't know what I was referring to
greengrin.gif
. I looked up the origins of the word just a short bit ago and it said it was usually used in the Northeast area but no idea of where it originated from to begin with. It's been 9 yrs since I used the word
ssad.gif
. Now I say purse
ssad.gif
I still say Hoagie though

its definately one of the chunkier and sparklier ones, but not the most chunky. or sparkly. but i find it just as easy to work with as all pigments.

cunning, kittenish

in person, cunning is more berry and kittenish is more plummy brown.

img10171.jpg

bloodline, moth brown

dainty, pet me

ok, i lied when i said bloodline was like mothbrown. its mothbrown's smokey cousin with soft sparkle!!! but again, everyone's skintone is showing different colours, so i say get it no matter what colour you are or what colour it looks like!

I'm gonna try Aristo-cat l/s on when I go check out the new nail polishes and I might get it. But i wouldn't be shocked if I got nothing. Also, despite me liking Bloodline p/m, I already have Mothbrown e/s from Barbie release and I don't really get the hype. I have taupe shades that i love and use way more. So there's no sense getting a full jar of pigment that looks just like it.

PP quad would be the only one I WOULD get if I hadn't just bought Dior's Misty Mauve quint, lol! I love purples and mauves and they are perfection on my skintone and eyes (me thinks, lol
tong.gif
).

How do you not already have Plumage
shockt.gif
? That's one of my MAC staples. Go get it now
girl_devil.gif

Oh, goodness, I am so sure I wanted PP, but I forgot I just recently picked up Dior's MM also!
tong.gif
Good, now I can skip PP! There's so many nice things in this collection, I am overwhelmed since I haven't been nuying MAC for a few months now, but I am rethinking if I really need these... Lithe I am definitely sure I am picking up that one, do you guys think I should wait for Mauvement & Bloodline to hit the CCO's..? Aside from Jealous & BoB (which I am unsure if I have any use for them) none of the other lippies are jumping at me..

Do you know what a rambler is then?? Because I swear I didn't make up the word. I learned it in Va

Erin- your new swatches
nonono.gif
I thought I would be done with this collection, but I really do love Bloodline on you, and I think we have somewhat similar skintones. Crap!

It looks like I will be getting Bloodline after all.

Also, if you had to pick between Kittenish and Cunning, what would you pick? I'd love to hear any opinions!!!

Thank you for the replies Shontay & Erin!

I'm wondering if there is an eyeshadow dupe for Mauvement maybe?
smiles.gif

& Bloodline looks so gorgeous in your latest swatch, Erin! Making me want that too!
th_wink3.gif
Any dupe for that as well?
