Thank you for the detailed review, Icecaramellatte! It really helps!

I'm wondering if those SH brushes are as small as the holiday SE brushes I got in 2008. They're really small! Great for traveling though.

Should I check Bloodline Pigment? Seems like everyone cannot stop talking about this pigment.

That's my question right now, too. I hope I have enough willpower at the counter tomorrow. I really shouldn't get it, but I may be tempted....

Lithe and Bloodline are now starting to creep up on my list and I must not let that happen!! I'm hoping to either place an order online or go to my MAC store to check out this collection.

I'm about to post comparison pics to the Nordstrom brush sets. I don't remember which year they are from though.

Well, I guess I have the green light now, because I just bought the most insane bag that looks like Conan the Barbarian's purse - with rawhide and fur and straps and big bronze buckles and a life-sized fake fox tail hanging down from it

Now I feel 100% ready for Bloodline all around my eyes with Showstopper liner winged way the hell out and some Liquid Lurex/ Jealous / Cunning lips going on! We seriously need a "Work It" smiley

I leave you with this for inspiration:

I wish I had more gfs who were into makeup - I'd go in together with them on the pigments and just split them in half (even if emptying out those bottles seems pretty scary).

Do we know if Bloodline is approved for the lips? That'd help go through it a little faster, perhaps.

Ooh if it's safe for lips, I may just have to get it!

But, I'm with you! None of my friends are even 10% as into makeup as I am. To them, it's an everyday routine and they have their everyday stuff, and that's it.

I had a hell of a time this morning trying to get my liquid liner on properly. I think my lashes are too long and curly and they get in the way. I have to dip my head way low to be able to draw a line without my lashes getting tangled up with the applicator. I think I was also nervous about messing up my shadow, too.

I eventually got it, though but I ran out of time and couldn't put on my foundation. That's what I get for rolling out of bed late. I was checking myself throughout the day and it really does look great, the way it shimmers.

Oh and I still haven't received my Lithe or Drive Me Wild that I ordered from Bloomingdales. I will never do standard shipping again. Ugh, I'm having dreams of wearing DMW and I'm so angry. I better get it by Friday b/c otherwise, I could've just waited until Saturday to get it from a counter!

Edited to ask: What do you ladies think I should wear with Bloodline? I want to use it as a lid color, but what to pop in the crease? Suggestions?

Yes, I have a few of those friends, too. I don't wear makeup sometimes, and I have a few that are like that, as well. But, like I said earlier, none that are really into it like I am. Well, one friend that wants to be a MA, but she's more into the art than trying a bunch of different products.

if you want it to pull more brown, try patina. if you want it more grey, try vex. more purple, go with shale. line all looks with black, fading from dark to light from lashline to brow.

Once again, sorry if it's been asked before... but does Cunning apply like a frost? I can't really decide between that one and Kittenish but I'm scared the latter will turn brown on my lips. -_-

Everyone has said it applies like a lustre. I will know for myself tomorrow, but it also looks like a lustre in swatches.
