When I checked out this collection today, I was told (at 2 counters), that you could no longer Back 2 Mac for limited edition lipstick. Apparently, a 'memo' was sent out recently about this. Has anyone else been told this?

About the collection....overall, all the colors were nice but nothing blew my away. I feel like I've seen all these colors before. I thought the Leopard Luxe colors were very warm so, if warm colors aren't your thing, skip LL.

Burmese Beauty & Palace Pedigree were both nice but I can't think of a single must have.

So Bloodline sold out? Wonder if I can still get it at Nordies?

My regrets (and could not gets until next paycheck) were Utterly Game, Wild By Nature, Pet me Please, To Pamper, Drive me Wild, Cunning and the LL quad & the piggies (mostly Antique Green and Bloodline, but Maybe Lithe too)

Hope they don't sell out before I get paid!

I will gradually be acquiring some of those liners, especially Desires & Devices (does anyone else think this name could be a double entendre?

)

I received my package today. I got Utterly Game and Bloodline. On me Bloodline looks like a blackened purple. Utterly Game also swatches on me with a hint of pink. I compared to Instant Chic and Peaches. Utterly Game falls inbetween the two. Instant Chic looks straight up pink to compared to the other two. Utterly Game is darker but does not swatch as dark as peaches. Peaches is about a shade or two darker than UG with more orange/coral in it. I am NC44 for reference.

Katred my hero, thank you so very much for your vampy lip swatches in the swatch-thread! Those shades are so gorgeous my heart starts to beat faster.

You just confirmed I need atleast Night Violet, Charred Red/Media, Cyber and my long lust for Sin did not go away to say the least. I haven't bought a dark lippie over a year, so I can buy a couple...can't I?

Btw, I just bought OCC LipTar in Vintage, I can't wait for it to arrive!

Fall and winter are the only seasons I want to wear dark lips. I have noticed I never wear them in spring or summer. It's like I rarely or never wear yellow eyeshadow in winter. Hmm. Maybe I should try it sometime!

Just tried the Brown feline liner over Gold Stroke - Awesome looking!

I was afraid I wouldn't have a steady hand & it would be a crooked line - but it came out so smooth. I just lightly laid the brush tip right on my lash line for a guide. Beautiful tight-line. Now to see how it wears the rest of the day.

They talked me into the Brown liner for everyday wear, but now I will have to get the Black one too.

I saw the collection yesterday. Glad the liners are permanent. They are very pretty and long lasting.

I'm about an NW16.5 right now and on me it's not too orange at all. I really love it, and it looks delicious layered over Pet Me (tried it because of Elegant!

Maybe this is one of those blushes that looks different on everyone? I did see another customer (NW20ish) trying it on when I purchased my stuff and it was VERY orange on her. I had it applied to my cheeks and it looked totally different, and the MA was wearing it and it looked different again on her!

I ended up ordering lithe and bloodline pigment (I'm a pigment girl) and decided to pass on the quads. Can't wait until I get them in the mail! WOOT

To those who have swatched both Lap of Luxury and Cunning:

Is Lap of Luxury lipgloss the gloss version of Cunning lipstick? I bought Lap of Luxury but I am starting to think of Cunning! Oh that's bad!...as I want to save $$ for other products(oh that Chanel nail polish!) and MAC collections I'm lusting after, LOL. Do I really need both shades if they are the same?...or very similar? I think for those wanting to try the vampy lip but aren't quite ready to take the plunge, a gloss verion of a lipstick might be the way to go.

And I have seen swatches online of Powerful (Im liking this!..and a shade I don't have another of) and Infused With Glam (I don't have)...to me they look the same! To anyone who swatched both side by side or has both shades...in your opinion, are they the same?...how about the glitter in both? Is one less glittery?

Cunning/LOL are just like each other- I was surprised they were so similar, I wanted one or the other and I couldn't decide which I wanted more.

I also swatched Powerful/Infused With Glam and they are exactly alike. I'm not sure why MAC didn't just keep the name the same, but maybe because Liquid Lurex made a second appearance they didn't want to use Infused With Glam's name?

I fell in love with the liners, so I bought those instead of Cunning or Lap of Luxury, but I'll definitely be back. This morning none of the customers were even paying attention to the collection so I'm not as pressed anymore.

To the best of my knowledge as a pigment collector:

Rich Life - AB9
Universal Mix - A99

These only came in the newer small jars, unless someone got samples but those would be marked as samples.

Deep Brown - BC7
Melon - A79

These both can be in larger old jars. I am not sure about the date on that melon being in the larger jar though.

Tried out my Desires and Devices SS liner today. LOVE it!!! I had to go a little slow with the application, but the line came out perfect. I really like the applicator actually!

Just got my FF delivery.

I love the blushes even more. Pet Me is absolutely the sweetest wearable every day pink blush ever. Love this so much.
And, I am thankful that Utterly Game did not turn orange on me

just straight up peachy peach - its beautiful.

Bloodline is a must! I already had Gold Stroke on, so I put Bloodline in v & upper crease

gorgeous smokey eye gorgeous. I'm glad its a large amount, cause I never want to run out of this color. I used Chanel Cassis liner on the waterline

Cassis is THE best dark blackened plum liner for the waterline - EVER!

Aristo Cat - hmm, I really love the color, but don't like the frost even though its not a heavy frost. I'm a matte/lustre/pearl girl. But, it looked great with Pet Me blush.

My liner from earlier is still wearing well, even after cooking steamy chili

I didn't get Lap of Luxury - but it is seriously gorgeous - very CoC
