I just got one of my B2M lipsticks in the mail, and it is TOTALLY filling my dark lip needs at the moment, making me feel better about skipping Kittenish. Hang-up is to die for. Really.

And my box still has not moved.

OK, Im still thinking, wanting, to get Powerful lipstick! I swatched it on my hand when I went to the counter Thursday, but passed on it for Aristo-Cat and Drive Me Wild...

Could Powerful lipstick (I know it's a dazzle), be similar in color (not finish, I know) to Spree lipgloss (which I got)?

Im trying to find a reason (good luck to me!) to pass on it. Im new to MAC...first collection was GMLOL

...and want to wait and see what the later collections bring around the holidays!

YW. I never would've thought to put them together either

I think the Powerful and Spree are pretty close in color with what I swatched today.

Someone asked about the #227SH brush a few pages back. I've been using it the past few days and I think I like it more than the full size version. The brush head is more oval in shape and flatter and allows for more precise application. It feels much softer on the skin. I mostly planned to keep this one for travel but I may be using this everyday.

After visiting the counter I went to Victoria's Secret and bought a few colors. something else. I've never tried VS makeup before.

Pet Me definitely has that extra rose pop of medium pink that makes it so naturally wearable imo.

Ahhh, I love the 227 & am lusting the sh edition so much. It looked so darling in person. Your description sounds so perfect. Its a great brush.

I absolutley LOVE everything about Victoria's Secret Makeup - the colors the quality, the prices

LOL Yikes and I mentioned the one quad I actually got. Thanks for clarifying!

I don't think Powerful and Spree look anything alike. If you are new to Mac, I think you should definitely wait for the Holiday collections. Mac usually does a tremendous amount of sets. More than any other makeup company that I've seen. Also, they do beautiful compacts! Very often I'm tempted to get something just for the compact. They do a lot of palettes and/or sets in colors that I already have so it is hard to justify for me but if you are new, boy are you in for a treat! Their compacts are so nice I wish they would just do one with the mirror alone. Better yet, I wish they would make a Studio Fix powder refillable with an option to buy a fancy compact for it.

Today I paired up Bloodline and Mauvement; (wet, used mixing medium) Mauvement on my lid and (wet) Bloodline on my crease. Then I added some more (dry) Bloodline to blend the harsh line and it looks so smokey and pretty. I finished with some Blacktrack and Opulash. ^_^
I added Kittenish on my lips and yep, my MUA was indeed correct: Kittenish looks really good with Mauvement.

I've been meaning to check out VS make up for awhile. Every time I go into a store it looks so messed over, though. I think I'll just order blind online. Sloppy, used up looking displays gross me out.

Please don't make me want to give Mauvement another try.

This morning I put Smokey Heir on and nothing else. Beautiful color and just that little bit of oomph I needed for Saturday errands. HOWEVER after a couple of hours most of it had flaked off on the inner and outer corners of the eye. I am thinking that these don't wear well on a bare lid.

Yesterday, I actually put my liner (Desires and Devices) on the inner portion of my eye. I never do that, but I decided to go full on cat eye. My liner also flaked off on the inner portion. Actually, it was kinda uncomfortable at first because after it dried, the inner portion of my eye felt stiff or dry.

I chalked it up to my eyes tearing up sometimes in the morning. That's why sometimes my shadow fades there and I don't bother posting pics. The liner kinda faded on the outer corner, but I think the less you apply it in the very outside corner, the better it'll be. It'll probably work better if you just swoop it up at the end before you hit the very corner.

I think I'll play with my liners now!

Thanks so much for your response! I can't wait to see what collections MAC offers for the holidays, as well as anything in Sept-Nov! I can't wait for those nail polishes in VV!

As for Powerful, I could get Infused With Glam later if Powerful sells out and find that I want that shade

I have six glosses, four lipsticks, four shadows, and two pearlglides from MAC...whew!...I had to put numbers by the items to let myself know I really don't need anything else at the moment...that hasn't always worked out in the past though...

I bought the Pedigree Quad and love it. The colors are beautiful. Also got a pink lipstick, I can't remember the name off-hand. I'm having to replenish because someone stayed the night and then stole half my makeup collection. NICE....

So I used bloodline pigment today. I love it. I paired it with Heritage Rouge P/M and NYX single eyeshadow in Black. I used Heritage Rouge all over the lid and put the Nyx black in the outer v and put bloodline in the crease and I almost forget. I used the middle color of Love to Love MES slightly above the crease.

I'm not going to lie but Lithe and Blonde's Gold are the same thing except Lithe is a tad bit darker but not enough to notice it. I think you are making a good decision about Blonde's Gold because it has a better texture, at least my sample does.
