MAC Fabulous Felines Discussion

I went to MAC yesterday! I am NW15 and ended up with Utterly Game and Wildly Refined. Both go great with Fresh Salmon! I missed out on Ripe Peach, so Utterly Game is a nice alternative! I also checked out the following, and did not get them for the these reasons (I like to get things totally different from anything else I own):
--Aristocat- close to Plum Dandy and Sequin
--Of Royalty- close to Gaga and Real Doll
--Pet Me Please- close to High Strung and Gleam
--Powerful- close to Embrace and Coppertime
--Burmese Beauty- close to Club, Shroom, Bagatelle and Showstopper
--Palace Pedigreed- close to Neutral Pink, Seedy Pearl, Plumage and Fashion Groupie
--Drive Me Wild- close to Fresh Salmon
--Docile- close to Lightswitch
--Quiet Roar- close to Elaborate
--Jealous--close to Pas De Deux

This morning I went to check on the laundry the b/f started and I'd accidently left one of my fav l/s in m work shorts

. It was Sparks Can Fly and it's pretty much all over everything. I had gotten it at a CCO 2 months ago and it was my go to neutral. Ugghh. I hope I can find it again because I got it at a CCO 2 hours from me.

On another note I'm contemplating going back to MAC today to get either the BB quad or PP one....or Utterly Game blush

You might try Lancome's Coquette if you cannot find another Sparks Can Fly. It is very similar!

I'm so sorry it is taking so long. I do remember (albeit ages ago, I'm an old fart) when I first set up my online account it took FOREVER for my first delivery. I called them and they said they were "processing" my account first before they could send out the items. However, Shontay is correct, they do sometimes screw up the confirmations. I'd call on Monday or use the MAC Chat line to ask for help. ♥

Thank you. :) An a-hole does that. She was down on her luck and hubs and I were trying to help her out. She left and took a bunch of stuff from us.

Thank you. That sucks about your lipstick. Have you looked in the Sale Thread? I bought a ton of stuff there, very good sales.

Thanks Rbella and jpohrer for the recommendations. I am going to check the CCO in Leesburg next weekend and if I cant find it in the sale/swap. If I have no luck with either or I will try the dupe

I ended up getting just Aristo-cat...I might go back for Of Royalty but it was so close to GaGa...but idk! lol

Rbella! It is so good to see you back. I've really missed your posts.

I have come to the conclusion that the new liners are not meant to be worn on bare lids. By the end of the day (around 7-8 hours wear) mine had come off in tiny purple flakes all over my face. I contacted one of my favorite MAC MAs who said they can be tricky to work with and that they need a base under them. So I guess I won't be giving up my Liquidlast or Fluidlines just yet.

I picked up Aristo-cat and the blue and olive e/l yesterday. I want to get ALLLL the colors of e/l! Best application I've experienced with an e/l yet.

The MA suggested that I get Viva Glam VI l/g to go with Aristo-cat. I think it might be HG because it looks soooo great on my lips, and as odd as it might sound, I think its a MLBB HG.

Still thinking of whether or not to get Drive me Wild. My BF said I had tons of colors like that but I think he's crazy... I have mostly berry and pink. Drive me Wild looks more coral to me than anything else.

I just watched Sarah Victors video on Youtube, the Fall/Winter trend one. She said she got Cunning Lipstick from this line, anyone know of a permanent dupe from MAC or just a dupe in general for it?

You should check it out - you & I love the same colors. There is something about it that makes the skin look so soft, fresh & pretty.

I'm also on the fence about Drive Me Wild... I don't think I have anything really like it so I'm leaning in the direction of getting it.. It looks more coral to me than anything else too.

See I find that so interesting. I actually have stopped purchasing pigments ever since the packaging change. I have collected every pigment for so long because I love them. However, I'm a bit particular and I like my packaging to match. (all my special packaging items are in a separate drawer) So I have stopped buying them out of protest. I will only get samples to match my sample jars now.

Sorry for kind of a stupid question - I've never seen the new quads in person. So, are the shadows in it removable? I mean is the quad magnetic so I can place other shadows in it?

that's not a stupid question at all

the shadows won't just pop out of the quad. you have to 'depot' them so to speak. i'm not sure on how you do it on the new styled quads though but i'm sure somebody here will do
