Haha... I was kinda surprised it took so long too. I got it but don't care too much for it. It just kinda looks plain on me

Maybe you'll get a sample.

I'm wearing it right now blended up past my crease with the middle shade from the Soften the Mood MES trio as highlight and Almost Noir pearlglide under the lower lashline with Go For It lipstick.

Don't tell me it looks good with Go For It (the only lipstick I've ever gotten a b/u of. two, in fact)

Damn. Now, I have regrets.

For me (NC15, dark hair, green eyes) it looks better with GFI than almost anything else I have that's not from FF.

Get yourself a 'lil sample jar somewhere, hon. You won't regret it!

Don't have a seizure! If the lipstick is dipped in alcohol and then wiped with a clean tissue, all the germs will be dead and the lippie safe for testing on the lips.

There's no need, dear!!

Even if I swear a thousand times I won't get them, I know the instant I see them I'll cave and get them. So, no point in resisting, right??

I don't know what to get anymore! My list is constantly changing. I really need to see everything in real life. Do you guys think the LL quad is to warmtoned for my light cooltoned skin? I really like the colours, but they look so warm. The more i look at the lipswatches the more i want some lippies. Which are the musthaves?

No mentioning Temptalia!!

But, I know what you mean about so many swatches creating confusion (keeping in mind that each monitor and skin color shows the product differently)... and, confusion makes us feel unsure about choices. I was not too enthused about FF at first since I felt most was dupable -- except for the Jealousy gloss.. but I am going to order a few items online (mostly lippies) since I have no time to go and actually see anything

Exactly.. it sucks when you're not going to be able to go and see anything, cause then you have to rely on swatches, and although my monitor shows everything as the photos intended, it's still hard to translate that into what it will look like on your own skin.

I have a similar version of the 188 brush -- short handle from Kryolan. I love it for my personal travel kit. I have had Mauvement for a while now, and did pass on bloodline since it is soooo similar to some of my testers.. I don't need too many more piggies unless they make my lashes grow like Betty Boop's

I always have the same problem with MAC polishes too.. too thin, and very streaky.

Uh oh, my want list is growing but my money is not...
If you have to choose two between these three (yes, I managed to narrow it down) what would it be?
- LL Quad
- Lithe pigment
- Desire & Devices liner

Can't believe tomorrow's Wednesday

I'm wondering if I go to MAC this weekend if an m/a would do a look with the PP quad. I just need to make sure those cool tones would work for me. I still like the BB quad too. Ughh... I just want too many things and not enough money which seems to be pervading with a few people here too. I've been looking for part time jobs do do some mornings a few days a week but oddly now there are NONE but when I needed full time before I got the FedEx p/t job all I saw were morning p/t jobs!

cutemiauw....if you have to choose I'd get the quad because you can use it more ways then any of the other two items you are thinking about.

i have just ordered my goodies from the uk site! yay! in the end i got-

bb quad
signature blue liner
bloodline pigment

i wanted to get jealous gloss however i really can't afford it because i picked up some bits from sales here. i figure that if in a couple of weeks i have some spare money again i shall buy it then. but i'm not going to go wild if it does sell out. so i shall be happy with my 3 items!
smiles.gif
i knew i could have waited for the liner but i'm just so excited to try it out!

yea, I have heard that they have improved--- that is why I am willing to try them again. However, comps for MAC in colors are neck to neck: Opi, (cheaper) Butter (up n coming) , D. Lippman, Essie (much cheaper). Lancome is $18 I believe, as is EL's, Chanel's np prices are Down to $ 23 from $ 28 and there are so many DS brands.. soooo again, it just takes a leap of faith
smiles.gif

btw, np sales and products for nails are up more than colour cosmetics

err.. not sure about that Karen. Been there, done that.. I got a nasty nasty nastiest MRSA bacteria and the evidence that these super bugs are growing in strength and numbers is amazing. I never test anything on the lips.. I will test on my arms if I don't have any scratch or cut.. I am bacteria shy

The liner is perm, so you could wait. And the quad is definitely something you can use in multiple ways.
