Gosh, I feel so behind on this site [its only been about 5 days since I last signed in]!!

One of my fave MUA at my local counter kindly gave me a sneak peek at the testers for the collection [checked out Pro Longwear too] and I am now definitely after more than 'Aristo-cat' I want Bloodline and Lap Of Luxury too!!! Trying to close my eyes to everything else!!!! VV has me on lockdown lol!!!

I got my box with Lithe & Blodlines.

I have to say I am on the fence about Bloodlines. It is the first pigment I have ever had that looks better applied dry than foiled. When I get it wet, it just goes kind of black/brown and seems to lose all subtlety. I did try a foiled layer and a dry layer over it and that seems to work ok.

It's like a blackened version of deep purple pigment which I never use because it's too brown. Brown tends to just look like dirt on me. But the black in Bloodlines makes the tone more cool so it doesn't look as bad. Bloodlines may be a brown I can actually wear. I am currently wearing it in the crease and smudged under my lashes for the smokey thing, with the dark purple pigment from the Spring Color Forecast on the lid. It looks good, I am just not sure it's me.

Keep in mind I am very pale with a very neutral tone. My best match is N3 Studio Fix compact foundation as far as Mac foundations go. I could probably do swatches for myself on cool toned parchment paper, heh. Anyway, your mileage may vary on what this stuff looks like.

Lithe looks just like Provence on me, which is fine.

Just got my MAC box!!!

Marked for Glamour is perfection!!! I'm going to try it out tomorrow, but it is love at first swatch.

I also tried washing my hands w/ soap and water, and while it faded, it was still there, so def. water resistant like Erin said. These are INCREDIBLE! If I get good with liquid liner, I'll be getting the black and silver ones as well.

And I know this isn't part of the collection, but my quad is SO pretty! I would swatch it, but I don't want to touch it- I'm still just staring at it! WAY better for me than any FF quad I could have purchased. It is probably going to be my everyday look! Now I just need to get Feline w/ Cham-Pale for the lower lashline.

Smolder will have to do for now.

I can't really comment on FF as a collection overall since I only got one eyeliner, but I really love this eyeliner- I suck with liquid liner, and so far, all of my practice lines have come out straight and perfect. I am slightly disappointed by the amount of product you get, but oh well. I don't use liquid liner everyday anyway. :/

Pet Me, Please was a surprise for me too - it's so pretty. The interplay between the pale pink nude base and the champagne frost is gorgeous.

You should try Bloodline in natural light, if you can. It really doesn't look like too much until you can try it on the eyes and see it with sunlight. Then it all makes sense!

I got my box too! I realized I have too many shimmery, nudey, and pinkish color lippies lol

Pet me please l/s- I'm so in love with it! It's simular to my Frou l/s. PMP is pinker and frostier though. Not dupes but look almost the same on my lips. My Sparkalicious d/g from A+O looks awesome over it!!! I love frost lippies

Aristo-Cat- Darker than I thought it was going to be. Well dark to me is different than others with my pale cooler skintone. Its an awesome Fall color! I'm not used to these kind of colors but thats a good thing. Spree l/g looks great over it!

Spree l/g- Another color I'm not used to getting. It is also darker on me than I thought. I really need to stop relying on tempalias swatches cause colors always look so different on me than her. Need to see on paler skintones. BUT it is still a beautiful color. I see me using this more alone than over lipstick

Liquid Lurex- Omg I'm in LOVE! It looks great over all the lipsticks I have! Even Bronzilla, which has always been so-so for me. But looks great now with LL. I'm def going to try and get more dazzle lippies before their gone. This color is a gold and pink dream! Speaking of, do you know if any dazzle lipsticks will ever be perm?

I am such a sucker for MAC lipsticks and glosses!
I still think I want to pick up best of breed l/g. And of course some of the eyeliners eventually

So far, I've just been playing with swatches, but it is AWESOME! I also tried making it look like Black Tied, and it worked perfect- really glad I picked it over Black Tied.

I went to MAC yesterday noon...
I didn't swatch a lot of stuff. One part because of I need to be frugal and choosy, the other is because the MA kept lurking on my side asking "are you done yet?". If they want more sales at least he should recommend some shades to me instead of asking *that* question

Leopard Luxe Quad:
- Wild by Nature: Pigmented. Looked a bit chalky on me swatched on my arm, but I think it could be a good brow highlight color or blending color
- Style Predator: Love this one. I think it's a pretty warm color on me. Not too orange and different than goldish color
- Notoriety: It's okay, rather greyish brown on me. Have to see how this one looks blended on eyelid.
- Furiously Fabulous: Love the texture on this one! I'm not the one who goes with black e/s. Usually they went untouched on my palette... but after seeing some vid tutorials I think I'm going to get a good use of this.
Overall, I like the color combination of this quad. Warm and lovely!

Lithe pigment: I love the subtle shimmer and color on me. It looked rather beige-ish than gold on me (will post swatches when there's more light here), but lovely nevertheless. I get Lithe because hubs always complements me when I did nude eyes that made my eyes look brighter... I think this one will do exactly that

Drive Me Wild l/s: It's a pretty color. I didn't get it b/c I thought it looked kind of similar with Made to Order and I'm not a l/s person. I'd love to see it on my lips, but never again I'm trying something on after HerGreyness description... so I thought I'll get another lipstick only when I need the color.

Out Minxed l/s: Just the shimmer, no color whatsoever on my hand.

Desires & Devices e/l: lovely olive green brown! I don't like black e/l so I'm always on the lookout for other dark colors

. The swatch didn't budge the whole day until I use a MU remover. Will get this later!

Burmese Beauty Quad:
- Prized and Skintone 2 looked kinda similar on me, only that Skintone 2 has shimmer. It's a cooler toned gold I think.
- Burmese Beauty: It comes surprisingly reddish! Kind of green and reddish. Very interesting color... if only it comes in a single e/s I will definitely get this.
- Showstopper: Looks like just another dark brown eyeshadow... nothing special.
The overall color combination is lovely too, it's definitely cooler than LL Quad. Now that I'm writing this, I think I like it more. LOL. Still not too crazy about Showstopper and Prized. Probably I'll keep fingers crossed that MAC will repromote Burmese Beauty! (Or I won a lottery this month )

In the end, it went as planned... I got LL Quad and Lithe Pigment. All those swatches here at Specktra didn't lie

BTW, the reason I had to be a bit frugal is because I needed a new coat for autumn/winter and yesterday I found the most perfect coat ever

I don't know if I remembered to mention I received my Bloomingdales package the other day. Inside was Lithe pigment and Drive Me Wild. It's funny because I had just organized my make up and I was going through my Nars shadow duos when I realized that one of the shadows was so close to Lithe. It kinda threw me for a loop. I don't know if I should keep it now. I can't believe I forgot about that shadow.

I forgot to mention that I was shocked to see the size of the pigment jar. I know it's been a while since they released it, but I just realized that's it's tiny
