Back to the BB quad. Cutemiauw and others that have swatched this....when I compared BB with Club in the pan they didnt look alike but you say the red does show up like in Club when it's swatched?

Yeah I've been MIA these days, partly because I'm busy with other stuff, and partly because I'm trying to save money by staying away from all the enabling.

I saw this collection today, and to say the least, I was quite underwhelmed by what I saw. The quads didn't catch my eye so I didn't bother swatching them. Neither did I swatch the other eye products as I'm not looking to buy an eyeliner or a pigment.

I thought the short handle brushes looked really cute though!

The lip products were only so-so. I don't know if it's because I already have more than enough lip products so none of them looked overly unique to me. I know many people are raving about Wildly Refined l/g, but it honestly looked very ordinary to me and my MA agrees. Spree l/g was too dull and frosty for my liking. Lap Of Luxury l/g was pretty and very pigmented, but I'm not one who would wear pigmented l/g because I prefer to use l/s for color. Best Of Breed l/g is a very interesting color, but not one that I would wear either. I absolutely loved Jealous though - there's just something about it that's very captivating to me, granted that it's a very sheer color so it'll probably look best layered over a l/s, but I just had to get it after swatching.

I was surprised at how glittery Cunning l/s was - I thought it was supposed to be a frost finish. My MA said it reminded her of Hang Up l/s. Out Minxed was pretty but not worth paying SGD28 for it IMO since it is almost like a non-color. Superior was too sheer and way too glittery; I think only the glitters will appear if you put it on your lip. Of Royalty is super pretty and it looks more wearable than St Germain too - I wasn't going to swatch it but my MA just had to tempt me with it. The Prowl was much browner than I thought it would be, and Powerful was a nice color but I'm not a fan of the dazzle finish so I had to pass it.

My MA texted me a few hours after I left the counter saying that the blushes were in, so I'll be heading back tomorrow to see those babies.

Here's what I walked away with today (not bad at all, I must say):
Drive Me Wild l/s
Kittenish l/s
Jealous l/g

I might have to grab Of Royalty when I go back tomorrow, I can't stop thinking about it. Any NC30/35 ladies loving it?

I know what you mean about Liquid Lurex - it is SO amazing. I would have never had bought it - until I swatched it at Macys and was like - WOW!!!! Good question about this being perm - is it gonna be? I love it mixed with lipgloss too. So many ways to use it

Speaking of, do you know if any dazzle lipsticks will ever be perm? I am such a sucker for MAC lipsticks and glosses! I still think I want to pick up best of breed l/g. And of course some of the eyeliners eventually

I don't have Club and I have no idea how it would swatch on me. But I tell you that a lot of colors looked very different on my skintone... BB is definitely like a red green color. I don't know if that makes sense to you... I can't show anything because I didn't take any pictures yesterday. Sorry

Well, I just came back from my haul, (I guess all European Specktrettes did the same thing today

) as FF was released in stores.

I have to say that I'm VERY impressed with this collection. I usually finalize my list before going to the store and that's what I'm getting. However, this is the first time as long as I remember that the collection was much better up close than what I expected it to be. I totally agree with Suzanne that for me this is the best collection of the year or at least in the top 3

The star of the collection must be the Superslick eyeliners. I know that everyone was raving about them but still, I didn't expect them to be THAT good! No picture I've seen does them justice, They have to be seen and swatched to be truly appreciated. I was planning to get just one since I have tons of eyeliners but I got three and plan on going back for the rest. Love love love them

I also got LL and PP quad, all three blushes (I love all my MBs and these don't disappoint), Bloodline pigment (super gorgeous!) and To Pamper l/s.

Overall, I'm very happy with what I've got and already planning the second round

Thanks. I'm thinking now that I've gone back and looked at swatches that BB doesnt come across as it does in the pan and does look like Club. I'll have to go try it out this weekend. Wished I'd done it when I was there on Saturday

I tried Drive Me Wild ls on my lips yesterday and I am in love

with it! It's purrfect for fall. Love the finish too (cremesheen). I put a thin layer of Spree lg over top...

it even more! Soo happy I picked both these items up! Will let you know when I try Aristocat ls!

...I can hear Cunning ls faintly calling me (I didn't get it)...for those who have tried it on lips, is it streaky?

On a side note: I received a dazzleglass creme lg from a friend in Soft Dazzle! Can't wait to try it out too

Not streaky at all on me. Kittenish was more so, harder to apply evenly. But Cunning is smooth, and just fine! I wish it was more fallsy out here so I can finally bust it out.

i got my stuff today, i got pet me blush, 2 eyeliners, the black one and green, and old gold, and bloodline

i am underwhelmed by bloodline, i must say, but i think its a shadow you need to wear, rather than swatch, it will bring out the green in my eyes hopefully

the liners are nice, i'm going to try the black one tomorrow, the green isnt as green as i hoped but still nice

old gold is stunning!

pet me is nice, i needed a more natural blush, and this will fit the bill, it is very finely milled and smooth, and a nice small amount of sheen, not all glitter bomb
