Well, I wear Defiantly Feline liner for a couple of days now and I'm getting better too. It's really easy to use, especially in comparison with other liquid liner (it always gave me raccoon eyes before). Also, I realized it is almost the same color as the area around my eye line (don't know if this description makes sense). This makes Defiantly Feline a very subtle liner but it's great for a beginner like me since my mistakes are not magnified

For a collection I thought I would hate I already bought:

Burmese beauty quad
Defiantly feline e/l
Palace pedigreed quad
Aristocat l/s
Docile l/g
Best of breed l/g
Pet me blush
On the hunt e/l

and I'm really debating buying the smoky heir e/l and treat me nice e/l

Right now I'm wearing docile l/g over sweetie l/s and pet me blush - I love it!

Unbelievable. I ordered Tuesday, package got shipped Wednesday and it has arrived today, Thursday.

Now THAT is what I call service, lol!

Now all I need is Aristo-cat l/s to stay in stock until Sat morning, and I'll be happy. *crosses fingers*

However in all the excitement - I was really concerned. One of my little black boxes was half ripped open, and the PP Quad had some fall out shadow all around the case. I hope it's ok. ;/

Thanks HerGreyness and Face2Mac. I swapped for that shadow so I'm going to just have the girl send me what I sent her unless she has something else I'd like. She told me her friend gave it to her so she had no idea but said Beauty Marked in the store didnt swatch well. I always found it to swatch well for me.

Anyway HerGreyness I try to keep thinking that about "this too shall pass" but right now I'm very down because when I get myself at a good place in my life everything comes tumbling down. Now yesterday I find out that I'm supposedly one of the 4 bottom performers in my managers group (there are many managers). We looked over the papers and where my gap times where which is the only problem and I brought the papers home to my b/f who used to be a manager there and was over my group. He said my manager has the goals per hour all messed up from the previous courier that ran the route because he did a "split shift". Not only that but he ran the wrong report and they have that I should be able to get to each and every stop within 5 minutes and that's not possible with the travel time/traffic. Some of the stops are miles apart! Today I'm going in armed with all this info and getting him to change a lot of stuff. It's disheartening because he's never check-rode me and he was suppose to a month ago so there's no way he even knows how the route is especially given that it was my b/f's old courier's route and he's NEVER even been out that way! And one more thing....I've busted my butt doing that route and never dilly-dally and never had a late in the 6 weeks I've been doing it.

^ the worst thing you can do for yourself now is to get depressed about anything... go in, tackle it and keep your chin up, otherwise people who are not necessarily your friends will sense or perceive your emotions. Do not let them win

and yes, it will pass.. just keep your chin up and eyes forward, one foot in front of the other!

Thank you, thank you. I'm thrilled. But absolutely exhausted. Wish I had the energy in me to play with them, lol. I'll have to soon though 'cause I need to make sure I got the right foundation/concealer. If it doesn't match I can send it back, right? Or does it have to be 100% unused? I got matched when I was in the US by two diff. artists - but both gave me a diff. answer. So I just chose the one I could remember. But it'll be a huge waste of money if I can't return it and it's all wrong for me. Sorry. I'm a newbie. XD

Cunning l/s and PP Quad look gorgeous though, I must say. Yay! Haha.

That cheered me up. I also experience some problems at my (new) job - my boss always singles me out to pick on me, and not in a nice way - he yells.
But yes, I'll keep my chin up.
Thank you!

I went back to MAC today and had another look at FF. Aristo-Cat sneaked it's way into my heart (and cart
smiles.gif
). It's such a lovely color. It looks natural on me, not at all pinkish (what I was afraid of). I'm super satisfied with my PP quad and felt no need for the BB and LL quads any more. Yay, more money for UD Naked palette.

When the money's not so tight any more (seriously, who am I trying to fool here?
greengrin.gif
) I will get Old Gold pigment and Treat Me Nice superslick liner - but for now I'm done. And happy about the stuff I got.

I know how you feel. Aristo-Cat MUST be mine. It's just.. gorgeous. I need it in my life - hopefully I can snatch it up this Saturday (money is tight until then so I can't before hand, I totally get what you mean.)

The UD Naked palette is definitely worth the money imo - so I'd highly rec that.

Again I agree with you - I'm thrilled with my PP quad. The BB and LL quads just didn't catch my eye enough. Enjoy your goodies! - I'm so envious you have Aristo-cat already!

Ok. I have a question for everyone who bought Cunning lipstick.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong - so please tell me if I am, but for the life of me I can't use it properly. It looks blotchy on me. I exfoliated my lips, moisturised them, attempted to line them with Vino lipliner (it looked awful because I haven't learned how to do it yet, so the edges looked wonky) but when I applied Cunning, the first coat went on great. But the 2nd coat? It was patchy/blotchy. Lighter in some areas and darker in others. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or if it's just how the lipstick is? Should I maybe try a powder on my lips first?

I tend to use lipbalm before any lipstick because I get really dry, sore lips if I don't have lipbalm on most of the time. But I've never had this kind of effect. Someone PLEASE help me, otherwise I feel like I'm just going to have to return it which I really don't want to do as I love the colour so much.

I'm going to have to try that again then. I just love the colour but I really suck at lining my lips. I know a lot of it is practice, but I have very shaky hands. I still can't line my top lashline to save my life with pencil/gel or liquid. I'm too shaky or just very nervous.

I tried resting my pinky on my face and doing short strokes but it's really not agreeing with me. Just really don't want to have to send it back because I love it so much.

When you say you filled in your lips, did you fill them in lightly or quite dark?

Does anyone know of a good dupe for Furiously Fabulous? It's the warm black color from the Leopard Luxe palette. Thanks!

Thanks HerGreyness and Anneri. I really appreciate the kind words of encouragement. Anneri you sound like me and my old place I worked prior to this one before I got laid off. That place was so corrupt that they should've all been in jail. Everyone else could do wrong stuff and illegal but I couldn't even put a coffee cup on my desk! I was told it was not allowed. Is that crazy?

I went in early and talked to my manager today and he told me that I'm not doing anything wrong but the route is the problem and they have to restructure it. I was in there defending myself left and right and he was telling me to calm down basically that it would all be fixed and I've been doing well. It seems though however there isnt a day that I don't do something wrong. I either forget to clock out, I have issues with the powerpad, ect. I just would like one day where nothing goes wrong. I just feel like people make fun of me being a woman courier. I see some customers looking at me oddly and look down at my shoes or my shirt or something and making a face. Yeah I have self esteem issues but I know for certain people think it's so odd to see a woman courier. I feel dowdy in the uniform and homely. Ugghh

your manager told you it is not you, but the route... you cannot do anything about that and it will be up to him to change it so it goes more smoothly.

As far as one day going perfectly smooth -- honey, most of the time it doesn't happen -- at least not to me. I have days when nothing seems to go right and everything is definitely going left..lol. Additionally I am now alone and don't even have the companionship of my dear husband to share my aggravations with. He had a kind and compassionate ear, a warm heart and a huge brain to help me sort out problems -- I run a business and employ other people as well as maintain all my major client connections, so it gets a bit nutty sometimes especially because it is the nature of the business.

You are a gorgeous redhead from your pics, don't you dare feel homely! Besides, brown is a great colour for you with that red hair
smiles.gif

Cheer up and you will see that things will pick up and turn around... there is nothing more cheering to me to see the sun rise every day, and I am still here and healthy

Ardell falsies are really affordable. I love MAC's #7, but I get Ardell more often. Hope you get your hands on RP.

again. Michelle you're a gorgeous woman and talented!! Days when everything goes perfect are truly rare... I don't know if I ever had 10 of them. You can't change things, you can only change the way you deal with them.

Thanks for your lovely words Isa. Now I know your name. I know......what the manager told me but he's not the best manager. My b/f worked with him as a manager for 2.5 yrs and he rarely knows his employees let alone give them any feedback. He leaves early almost every Friday unless he's already taken off. I swear he cant have any vacation time left because he took off every single Friday when my b/f worked there June 09-May 10! He never edited his employees timecards and my b/f had to do it along with pretty much everything else of his. Where I work almost all the managers except one is crabby and doesnt care about the job and no communication. One manager that just started there about 2 months ago already hates it and wants to leave....his says it's just so bad there and another one that's been there almost a year is ready to go too! It just feels like I went from one bad place to another except here they cant get away with the crap the other one had like not paid overtime and sexual harrassment.

Anyway I'm very sorry about your husband and can't imagine losing someone that was like that in your life. I cant say my b/f is the same as most of the time I feel alone and "unhelped" if that's a word. I usually feel worse anytime I feel bad if I ask him for advice or am feeling badly. That's another long story in it's own. You seem like a very confident person btw! I hope you will feel better about things and they get better for you as well.

BTW I wear black and purple with a touch of orange with FedEx. UPS wear the "brownies". I do feel homely though but thank you for the kind words. My hair yes is red in that pic and now sorta red but naturally it's a dark brown and I soon will be getting it back to a brown color as I dont like the red/auburn. Maybe I'll send you a PM and chat with you a bit
greengrin.gif

...edit also thank you Eugenia. I don't except things to go perfectly but expect not so many things to go wrong
ssad.gif
. Even the check-in lady lasks how my day went because I always have some issue every time I come in from the road! She says "poor Michelle. Every day something goes wrong"
