Karla Sugar is a specktra member but she also has a blog where she makes the best swatches of products!! really accurate pictures and she is very honest and generally seems like a lovely lady :)
Great lighting too - but it also helps if you are similar to her colouring, NW20. Which I am. lol

is the collection only going to be these cream/liquid eyeshadows? =/
I really hope there's something else...even though that might be bad for my wallet...

After looking at the AllGlam article, all I have to say is meeeeehhhhh. I have kinda oily lids and stuff that doesn't really have staying power is always a huge pass for me.

i only want the cream shadows if they dont crease with udpp underneath, otherwise, why would i buy these when urban decay have just brought out their amazing shadow pencils and they already have awesome cream shadows too that do not crease

awww, I was kinda looking forward to these. I really like liquid eyeshadow (like the chanel ones), but cream ones always crease on me... except for the MUFE ones, but I'm pretty sure those are magical.

Oh dear, let's not bring up then new UD shadow pencils. I can't afford to go off budget! They are so beautiful, it's hard enough to resist them on my own without you all tempting me :)

Yeah, but I don'/t have the patience to use the tip of their pencil to go over the whole lid. I avoid creasing by avoiding putting the product in my actual crease. I know, it seems self evident and you might wonder why it took me so long to get the technique, but I seriously use a brush to swipe the color over the lid only, then start at the brow line and work my way down, but not actually put any product in the actual crease. If some gets in there, then I use a q-tip to wipe it off. It seems to be working so far for most cream shadows and paint pots. Now, the crepe paper look I have to really get a very, very, very thin coating of product to avoid that. And this seems to work whether I use UDPP or not.

I am hoping there are some cream shadows with finish that is a bit less frosty/metallic than those swatches from all glam. Cuz while I can handle a lil creasing, I am a frost-o-phobe. I don't wanna look like a hit a 70's time warp...

So these are very liquidy. The color payoff is very sheer and they are tricky to build if you want more intensity. Some have a nice amount of shimmer but overall I'm very dissapointed. The colored mascaras are nice though. Theres even a grey one!! The green will definitly be mine!!

Well, in that case, I'm going to pass and maybe try out the Benefit or MUFE ones. I'm not sure about coloured mascaras... The effect either always looks really subtle or a bit tacky to me. It can be fun- I grabbed the green one from WW- but I don't think it's something I'd be using a lot. We shall see.
