this is true - mac has just left us with the more neutral paint pots and paints for some stupid reason!

But in this case I really hope that the texture is close to p/ps and that they are not too sheer and especially that they don`t crease!
I would love to use them as bases just as I use p/ps.

I have to say that these are going to be a lot more difficult for me to like now that I've met the Armani Eyes to Kill shadows. A lot more expensive, but just incredible. They're a powder that works like a cream, they don't crease or budge, the colours are remarkably subtle... I feel like Mac has sort of fallen behind, only doing cream shadows now. Unless the technology is amazing, it seems like there are other options out there. Not to say I won't give them a try, but I don't see myself rushing for them.
i agree totally! i wear my make up for over 12 hours a day (i work lots!) so they need to be long lasting!

Well... I hate to enable, but what you've heard is true. I am shocked, but I would say the product lives up to ALL it's claims- it doesn't budge, it doesn't crease, can be used wet or dry, can be blended for sheerness or layered for intensity and- I still don't know how they accomplished this- cleans right off with a moist wipe. It was easier to remove than my mascara, which isn't long-wearing... Plus, of course, the colours are all fascinating to just stare at.I'm trying to stay as far away from the Armani shadows as I can! I know that if I let myself even touch them I will probably have to get someone to drag me away because of the price lol I hear they're absolutely amazing!
i've not heard of these at all so i shall have to do some investigating!

Shiseido also has some nice cream shadows, and in more color variety than benefit. They're great as a base also
