Wow MAC has really missed the bar on this one. They seemed to have so much potential. Such gorg colors but bad in action.

I'm not going to let them ruin my love for MAC though. I'm glad every coll isnt amazing. It saves my wallet and makes it so I can afford the good things they do release, I'm pretty sure Semi-Precious is going to be amazing! And also to get perm things I've wanted to get but end up not because I'm buying so much LE.

I was going to get a mascara but think I'm just going to pass all together. I only want 1 thing from Surf Baby so this saves money for Semi-Precious and other brands.
Oh... and my wedding

Yeah its going to be so much fun. We have been together for so long and have been through so much, I'm so ready. It might not be a huge expensive wedding but that not our style anyways. My dress looks like a prom dress lol And the fact that Semi-Precious comes out the same day makes it even better! hehe

oh yeah - you don't have to spend a fortune to have a great wedding! me and nick were on a very tight budget and decided we wanted to spend more on the honeymoon than the wedding - so we did! oh and i bet your dress looks beautiful!

tts what i would do!! hehe.. id honestly much rather go somewhere nice than spend it on a wedding.. and in most cases, some of the pple you invite are nt even grateful for the amount of money you are spending..

Awe thank you ladies your so sweet. My dress is a mermaid style and It's a dark pewter color. So for my makeup I was thinking maybe a soft purple smokey eye with a pinky-nude lip. Possibly a gloss over it. Does that sound yay or nay? Plus purple is my fav color.

We are probably going to to take it easy on the honeymoon expenses too. We want to get a house more than anything. Were sick of apartments lol

I am more excited than nervous. I'm so ready!

I just don't see the point of these. I know a lot of cream eye shadows crease but these just look terrible. Some people seem to be trying to make excuses for these products but the fact is, they don't work. Temptalia showed it, she had to layer primer underneath and shadow on top. To me that just defeats the object of them. You should be able to use them alone. Paint Pots sometimes crease on me after being at work all day or if it is warm but normally they hold out so I can use them straight onto my lids, no primer or shadow needed and obviously I can use them as a base too. To me, Big Bounce Eye Shadows seem like they are more of an artistry product to be used in shoots where the makeup artist can constantly touch up anything. They aren't practical for real life. Therefore it might have been better for MAC to release these as Pro items so they could be used for things like the promo shows.

I'm not even sure about the mascaras, I got the green from WW but don't find myself using it because I hate the formula and I have to use 3 layers of it to get it to cover my lashes properly. It shows up no problem but I have very dark lashes which look strange if they aren't completely covered in mascara. Zoom Lash isn't a favourite of mine either, I find it makes my lashes look really spidery.

I can't believe they have the nerve to release these. That lady's lids look greasy, like she's been sweating all day. Epic Fail.


EDIT - just want to add that isn't a shot at the model, just the product itself caused an oily look.

I just don't see why they released a whole array of colors of these when they don't even stay on a while unless you do a primer AND shadow over top! Hate to say it but I'd take the cham pale paintpots over this, at least vintage selection is pretty! And they're meant to dry quickly? TEmptalia said it takes a minute! who has that much time?

*deep breath* will not get mad over makeup!

I'm skipping this collection.

At first I was excited, but seeing the honest review and swatches on Temptalia makes me glad I can save my money.

Paintpots I'll be sticking with, Benefit cream shadow/liners and MUFE Aqua cream shadows (These are worth it).

It seems since they are LE for whatever reason MAC went cheap or tried too hard to match it to a balloon theme that does not work.

I'm still going to check them out for myself, regardless of her reviews. I've been finding that some of her opinions aren't the same as mine. Although, these do look crappy. IN the pics of them alone, it looks like she put them on with her finger. It sucks that MAC may not have gotten these wrong (I say May cuz someone said they could use them for editorial work), b/c there are so many better options out there.

It's always best to check things out for yourself. Heaven knows I did that with the Cham Pale paint pots after plenty of warnings that they were glitterbombs. Just as long as you know what you may be getting into.

I am totally skipping this. Sorry, Flighty...but thanks, MAC! I thought I was the only one, but it has become a relief to be able to say no to certain products. Although I do have a list of things I've been forced to skip, so I will be getting them some hopeful day! This collection is a relief for me. Ahhhh
