Bloomingdales still has the paint pots, and they have free shipping on $50 beauty orders. I'm tempted to buy my backups there since they have Chanel Lip Laquer in Dragon, FYI for those that love that shade, Chanel is discontinuing Dragon in 2012! I'm going backup carazzyy up in here, LOL

so i have yet to pick up how beautiful, and i assume snow globe has sold out by now...
...but i did end up picking up a fan brush...it's not by mac or smashbox -- i happened to find one from quo...they're pretty good brushes, but from the few i have they aren't as soft as my mac ones. anyway, i just didn't feel like waiting till i could get to a mac pro as i wasn't sure whether they still carry one.
hopefully i will still be able to find how beautiful this week....

I am REALLY annoyed with MAC now. I got my order and opened it yesterday as I was not at home for the whole weekend. Picked up the box of Soft Sable to find it rattling around, thought nothing of it and opened it. There is no cap on the lipstick! WTF?! How can a lipstick go off the production line with NO CAP?! Now I'm going to have to ring them up to explain. I don't really want to use it as it has been open since production and I don't think that is very hygienic so I would like a replacement from them. I don't want to send it back either though because I don't see why I should have to pay the postage and I don't trust them to refund it to me as last time I needed a refund it took a whole damn month! ARGH!
I think it's beautiful. Great quality and pigmentation. It is worth noting tho that it doesn't look as mauve as the pan colour and I hand picked mine to get one with predominately mauve in it! Having said that, I love how it looks on- a metallic silver with fab mauve sheen- different from anything else I have

So I rang MAC during my lunch hour and the woman was quite bemused that there was no cap with my lipstick haha. They are going to send me a replacement and I can do whatever I like with the faulty one. I'm so glad I don't have to send it back out of my own pocket nor have the hassle of getting to the post office to send it back. They would have just binned it anyway so I guess it doesn't matter to them what happens to it.

On another note, what are you all doing with your spheres? They are so massive and can't see myself using them as tree ornaments, I think I'll just chuck them out.

Actually I am LOVING Hold That Pose! It is way prettier than I thought it was going to be and I think it may be for me what Snow Season is for warmer ladies. I picked one with a lot of silver veining on one side and lots of peach on the other side so I could control how cool or warm I want it to be. It loks SPECTACULAR over Let's Skate, but also over darker grey or brown paint pots (like Stray Grey and Quite Natural). I think it is a really versatile color and the texture is gorgeous. You should absolutely pick one up! (And I think I just talked myself into a back up).
Any ladies want to weigh in on Fresh Ice?
It looks like the dreamiest, most buttery sheer white sheen and I am realizing that I don't have anything like that in my stash. I love Mineral Mode from SP, but I just realized today that even the "white" areas of that shadow have a creamy pink glow, and I am thinking it might be nice to just have a beautiful white shimmery shadow.......
Would love to hear your opinions on it!
