I've always been a fan of the white packaging for the Holiday season =] It just makes me think of winter more than something like red packaging, or tartan.
But to be honest, it REALLY makes me think of the Antiquitease holiday collection from '07 which is still my some favorite packaging MAC has ever done.

OMG!! I am so excited for this collection now. I am really hoping that once the swatches come out...my list will get smaller...LOL. So far my list is...

- Silver skates liner
- Going for Gold liner
- Eloquent Air ls
- Snow Globe beauty powder
I also will end up getting at least one of the brush sets...I need GLITTER handles!!

It's hard to tell from the pictures whether I'll like the packaging or not...have to see it in person to judge the quality. I'm glad that they're mixing it up with the offerings in their brush sets this year. I won't be buying any for myself but maybe for a gift.
For me it will be the paintpots (was really hoping for a white one though) and probably that green MES (I'm predicting that might be the first thing to sell out).

I am excited about the brush sets: the duo fiber one and essential. Essential brush set has 226. Of course, the quality of the brush sets is not as good as the full size brushes and short handle brushes, but I think they are kinda cute and great for traveling. Hope they're not too scratchy.

I am SOOO excited, there's so much I want, OMG
I hope I'll have enough money to buy most things on my list. And I can't believe Gaelic Gold is being repromoted, I've been kicking myself for not getting Reelers&Rockes last year the the last couple of weeks, and was just looking at it on ebay, wanting to buy it. That's exactly the greenish antique gold shade that I am looking for for this fall/winter. No doubt I'll get that palette.
I also want a Lip Set, the n/p set, maybe a l/g set and A TON of stuff from the single products. It would be easier to name the things I don't want, LOL.
I cannot wait to see swatches of the lipsticks, MES and p/p

The icing on the cake would have been blushes, but my wallet is happy there aren't any, heehee.

Maybe the name is wrong because that's terribly confusing. I hadn't noticed the lack of blush until you pointed it out. Only blushes are in those big kits. Maybe we'll be getting a special blush collection soon? Or maybe more permanent blushes because they haven't added blush to their "Pro Longwear" line yet and their permanent blush collection isn't that good anymore.

At first glance the light green mes looks very close to a mineralized version of Warm Chill. Can't wait for swatches.
When I was in my MAC store last week buy a new Lightscapade the new manager told me they go to update on Oct 1st. I don't understand why MAC does this so late in the game considering when the collection comes out. I like when the ma's have a chance to play with products and tell me what they think. I have a few here and there that will tell me straight up if they don't think something is up to par. I like that about them instead of trying to shove an item down my throat that they don't even like themselves such as the texture or whatever.

I have to say the white packaging is amazing!!!!! I love the MES, especially the beige- bronze and the light taupe-purple ones!!! And the beauty powders, I hope they're not glittery though, I'm really considering getting one BP even though I have many highlighters just because of the packaging! I also hope the Paint Pots are not glittery the light brown one looks really pretty!! Not so impressed with the lip products. The handles from the brush sets are just amazing, but for sure I won't be paying 55 or 60 euros!! From the e/s palettes, Sultry looks really pretty! And this year I love the lipgloss sets, I didn't like the ones from the previous years holiday collections.

OK, now that I can see everything more clearly, I'm only in for the Shimmermint e/s.
But, I'm gonna check out these in person:
- Morning Frost Soft Brown PP. If it leans red undertone no good for me. I have Taupe Aqua Creme which is perfect for me
- Let's Skate Pink PP looks too pink for me & if so I'm finally gonna pick up Bare Study
- going for gold pencil. Have MUFE 9L which is much more yellow gold. Luv it!
- Let's Flare dark red l/s
I've been waiting for MAC to come out w/ the 282SE stippling e/s brush, however, won't spend big buck for a kit for just 1 brush. Hopefully will come out w/ it as single LE. (fingers tightly crossed!).
