MAC Glitter and Ice Discussion

So, I'm thinking of preserving my G&I Paint Pots since I still have all my Posh Paradise Pots to use... and don't want them going bad!  Is the best way to preserve them in the refrigerator?  And if so, how long does that work?  And when I'm ready to use them, do I just take them out and let them reach room temp and leave them out after that?  Have never tried this before and have been curious, as I've seen others that have said they are going to do this...  Thanks for any advice you have!

I recommend checking out the posh paradise thread. Mac-guy has posted alot of details about storing and preserving paints pots. I have read and understand the reasons for preserving pp but personally I am never going to use up a pp in 6 months so I don't try and I have pp on the go that I have been using for 2 years or more. I just store them upside down and they are fine. I can't believe I am going to admit this tho....all my make up is stored in the bathroom!! There i have said it....I feel like I have just admitted to an affair or something! It's the only space I have and I try not to think of the bacteria!!

I though the problem in storing makeup in the bathroom was the warmth caused by hair dyer! or humidity!

I think the warmth is a trigger for alot of bad things I try not to think about! I don't have alot of space and I have 2 babies so the bathroom is the only space I have that they can't get to! Also the lighting in there is good so it's where I like to do my make up

I think you simply should be careful and keep everything fresh and dry ^^ My room is the hottest of the house .... but the unique product that suffered for warmth was Benefit Porefessional!

I feel silly asking this... but can anyone tell me what I could use the 286se mineral brush for (the blending type brush). I'm confused...

I picked up the other two kits as well (so I have all 3). I really like the brushes for the price. The 226se and my 226 from the MMO collection are almost the same. My favorite set is still the white one- special edition.

Ech. Bad news on the Winterized front.....none of the stores I went to today had gotten it in, and none of them had heard when or if they even would! BOOOOO. So all I got was Hold that Pose, Let's Skate (I surprised myself by buying that one, but it was too pretty to pass up), Soft Sable (corpsey, but in the best possible way) and the Sultry lip bag. I am excited to play with it all tomorrow, but I am REALLY still holding out hope for the ONE THING I really wanted, which of course is Winterized!! And I will probably have to go back for Snowglobe too........

Did you not order Winterized from Mac on the phone then? Do you know if they charge for delivery?

I am gonna pick up my haul tomorrow... I am sooo excited.. I already have winterized e/s & its a soft smokey eye look in the pot kit.. Is is a good option to travel with mineralized stuff.. As i was thinking of taking this baby on trip..

On the other note -: Mac Guy you rock.. LS msf worked out for me. I went for more pink/beige veining & very few blue ones. AND now I need you again.. what are ur thoughts on snowglobe?? seems like you loove it but will it be good for my now NC 40 skin.. I have How Beautiful & I adore it ( I might not be an active writer but I am always online on specktra reading everyone's thoughts)..
