Hot planet is more of a plummy pink(solid) and the MSF side is a golden plummy pink with some red here and there

Earth-earth was very pretty in the pan..but when the MA applied the MSF side(the golden purple side) on my cheeks, it looked like had a huge fall out of purple e/s on my cheeks..lol..but swirled together with the solid side,earth-earth gives out a healthy golden glow..

To make along story short..I wouldnt say these duos are a must have,but this will make an excellent addition to your mac collection..If you like MSF and the glow that only an MSF can give, then this collection has your name on it..some of the colours are unique and they are highly pigmented..I will go to the extent of comparin them to nars blushes..people shld chk them out first before skippin the collection,thinking that they are sheer,chunky or glittery..you guys are in for a surprise..

Okay, here is my dilemma. I LOVE stereo rose. It is perfect for my skin. I tried MErrily last year and it is gorgeous at first, but turns OOmpah Loompah orange on me. It is embarassing by the end of the day.

Stereo Rose never turns on me.

I have almost every MSF ever released and love most of them and use them constantly. What has been missing is MSF quality blush colors.

I am trying to decide if I should get all of these or not since MSF is the only thing in my MU collection that I HAVE to have- even if I can not have mascara.

I am thinking of passing on Intenso, but I don't want to regret it forever more after this.

Can you please help? I can never see these in person before I buy them so I have to order online only sight unseen.

These blushes are very pretty!!! If I did not have any from Sonic Chick I would get one or two of them. But I am not a big fan of shimmery chicks, so I had to pass. At least for now, hehe, cause i wanted to pass all of them from SC, but ended up with two of these babies.

I went to check out the collection today, and tried on Moon River...and shimmery shades are not for me.
It made my face look oily, and the colour didn't show up on my skin (pale-as-hell NC20). I'll stick to the regular powder blushes..even the frosty-finished ones like my beloved Blooming look better than the mineralized shades do on me.
Oh well. I'll just spend the money on a paint pot or chromaline instead.

If you like bright blushes..then you might like love rock,intenso,grandduo and hot planet and on the lighter side -moon river( a corally peach pink) if you are of lighter skintone..If you want a bronzey look,you might like light over dark...If you are a msf addict i am sure you will want them all..lol

.but it is really individual preference...Since you cant see them in reality and can only buy online, my only advice to you is to keep chking the swatch thread and wait for like 2-3 days ,i am sure many shld post more swatches coz it was just released in mac stores today in U.S...HTH

I am so proud ....I went in and swatched every single one every single way...and I walked out with NONE!!! OMG the first time EVER!!! I have not bought one item from a collection and Lord knows I tried and tried...I wanted Love Rock but went in with Pleasantry on my wrist and side by side I could not justify it.. My MA was in shock .... But she kept saying ...Nope you don't need that one...Nahhh ...nope...so it was a pretty easy decision...this was not one of her fav collections so the enabling was poor..

So Next ....My 2 MSF's from SS and patiently waiting for SW

I went today and saw and swatched them all and thought that they were pretty neat. I got Moon River and Love Rock as they were the only two I could ever see myself wearing. I thought they were a bit pricey but I only have Dollymix, Tippy blushes and Blonde and Redhead MSF's so I justified it, I also had a bay giftcard which paid for most of it lol so that helped a lot.

Moon river is definately my favourite I think although I haven't tried love rock on my face yet so we'll see.
For reference I am fair skinned with pink undertones. I don't know what I am on the MAc scale of foundation colours because I use Clinique (Supermoisture make-up in Pure Porcelain) with faint freckles.

I think they are worth taking a look at anyway if you're near a counter.

Alrighty I swatched Love Rock and Moon River at the MAC store because those were the only ones which applied to me lolz.

If you have TIPPY FROM HK, you do NOT need Love Rock. Seriously lolz. If you use Tippy with a light hand, it's the exact colour literally with Love Rock. I actually got Tippy and Love Rock together and swatched them on my hand. I made Tippy match Love Rock and the other way around too if I wanted too. Save yourself some money and not get both lolz.

Moon River, I just broke down and got it because on the marbled side it's a highlight for sure, more on a white-ish/pale yellow? colour. The mono side is like NARS Orgasm but more...orange/light pink. And yes, the marbled side has more shimmer than the mono. If you mix them together you get a PEACH colour

Bonus for me because now I can use this one many ways

I hoped this helped someone haha. But on a serious note, don't get Love Rock if you got Tippy. It's literally the same thing. (Tippy is more on the 'not as shimmery' side for those who prefer matte finishes)

Forgot to mention: I'm NC25 and I LOVE MOON RIVER lolz I don't regret buying it for $27 CAD withsoever

Lol I'm NC25/30 and I just bought it today. It's really pretty, but very light. Go buy it LOL.

I felt the same way until I saw these two swatches and then I said OKAY...I like those...My MA said they will have them on Monday so I'm gonna go swatch and peek the MSF's ONLY and see if they look like this swatch below...Keeps fingers crossed..They look like the perfect blush toppers for me...

Does anyone know what the deal is with MAC perpetrating these blushes as being 3.5 grams/ .11 US oz...online???

I can't confirm it because I haven't seen them yet in person, but my MA just told me these were actually 3.2 grams/.10 US oz over the phone?!!!

Or is it just another one of those advertising boo-boos that irritates so!?!

I have Intenso, and when swatched on my hand it reminds me of a darker version of Stereo Rose...

I also have Merrily and to me, Intenso is more of a corally brick colour rather than the straight red that Merrily is.

I tried to wear Intenso today but I was too heavy handed and took it off and applied Fun & Games instead lol... I have to try again when I have more time to see how I can get this to work!

I know huh?

The the regular mineralize blushes are 3.5 grams.

Oddly enough - MAC online fails to indicate how many grams the regular mineralize blushes are.

Yes the MA is right..it is 3.2gms/0.10 USoz

tippy is more of a matte version of LR..but LR looks prettier IMO coz of its shimmer.....and i still
