I got Moon River and Intenso. Can't really comment on Moon River yet as I've not actually worn it but it does look super pretty in the pot.

I thought Intenso would be much took dark for me, having looked at swatches, but I took the chance and it paid off. It's actually very pretty, ever so slightly too heavy to look really natural on me, unless I get really blend happy but it's a great colour for when you have neutral eyes/lips and go for a bolder cheek colour. I think it's lovely personally!

Happy with my choices and also I'm pleased with myself that I didn't go too far and order more, because 2 is definitely enough.

OMG I just thought the same thing. I was pretty excited to see Moon River but the second I saw the price I thought to my self "SORRY MAC! I draw the line at a $27 blush...."

Even with a decent job I have a really hard time justifying this purchase. Plus taxes thats just over $30

WTF for is right

I'll wait for Sugar Sweet's Perfect Topping. I believe it's CAD 32-ish.

MSF are at least 2x in size.

Thats a great idea... I totally agree w/ you

Sigh, did a major prehaul today. I think I'm going to just get one

If that Moon River doesn't work for my NC25, I'm going to skip that darn $27CAD blush lolz. I don't care if it's Mineralized anymore, it's the fact that SUGARSWEET IS NEXT WEEK

lolz

Which is another reason why I'm getting 1 or none at all. I better not kick myself later in the year for NOT getting Moon River. Hateeeeeee it when that happens.

I thought these were supposed to come out tommorow but I called Mac and found out they came out today so I squeeled and ran to the mac store haha. I was not dissapointed when I got there. These blushes are so pigmented and glowy, I am completely in love. They are different than the sonic chick as these are more pigmented and glowy/shimmery. They really are a blush and MSF in one. I know I will get more use out of these then most of my MSF's. The blushes I tried didn't have any large glitter particles or anything which I feared. Moon river does not look like Dainty on the cheeks (even though the half part does in the pan) and intenso is nothing like gleeful. I haven't tried on intenso but it looks like it would make a beautiful bronzer, it seemed more coppery than pink to me in the store...

I'm willing to shell out that much for (ONLY) one blush for a number of reasons:
1. Blushes will last for forever and a day in my stash. I only have a couple, and I don't even use blush all that often, but I figure Moon River is unique enough to warrant purchasing.

2. I'd rather get a blush/MSF duo than a full MSF. It'll get more use from me.

3. Moon River's mono side looks a lot like a more pigmented version of Dainty, which an MA at The Bay is always trying to sell me on.
lol.gif
I don't really see it show up on me, though, so Moon River looks like a better choice. And it has some frost/pearl/shimmer to it, which looks good on me.

4. If I decide to pick it up at the Pro store, I could ask about getting a sample of Basic Red pigment while I'm at it. I've been lemming it for a while...(I'd love to mix a tiny bit with a dab of hair gel for red tips without actually dyeing my hair
th_wink3.gif
)

...And that's all I could come up with.

LOL those are great justifications! I love it! I am kinda mad they are so much! That is like double the price of other blushes... but they look so enticing! And then MAC sent out the stupid email with free shipping! So of course I caved and bought the Love Rock.. I really want Moon River and they were sold out of the 188 brush online so I will go in and buy those. Has anyone tried the 188 brush? How do you like it?

I have the 188 and have for quite some time! I use it daily to apply my Lightscapade as highlighter.

I usually use a full 187 for my blush.
