MAC - Grand Duos Discussion

It all depends... I can wear these to work no problem, but most days, I can also wear dressier jeans, because our office is really not that conservative. These blushes don't have more shimmer than MSF's or last year's MB's.

Also, I had no problems applying Grand Duo with the 188. It didn't go on too dark at all! It's one of the reasons that I like it so much!

they are shimmery...but not glittery. I wear them to work by the way.

They are much more subtle too, if you just use a little from the solid side, then I use just the side of my 187 to pick up a light dusting of the marbled side. That way (at least for me) it doesn't turn out too shiny or sparkley which I do not like

Thanks to all those who answered.. Seems like these are office-friendly blushes after all! That would justify my purchases even more.

I will probably have to wear really formal clothes (think blazer suits) for my internship though, because of the profession I'm going into. Oh my.

Yeah.. So much for being on Team No.. But I'm not getting much from the upcoming collections, and I under-spent (is there such a word?

) for my Hk haul. So I can afford a few of these, though it does not change the fact that they are really pricey.

So far i've only worn loverock, moonriver, hot planet and grand duo.

My fav is hot planet...love the peachy glow it gives. Grand duo is nice also.. gives a nice rosy flush to the cheeks IF u don't over apply it that is

I agree that you should go to MAC to swatch these blushes and not order online... They are not cheap, so you'll want to make sure that you actually like them before forking out the cash.

Hmm, I'm just hoping Hot Planet won't turn orange on me. I don't know what's up with my skin lately, all the blushes turn orange on me. It's never happened before. Maybe the severe lack of sleep is doing something to my body's chemicals.

Did you see the swatch thread? Tippy + Blonde MSF would be a good dupe for Love Rock.

Go to the counter to check these out before deciding!

Since your counter hardly ever sells out of stuff, I think you can take your time with these.

Yeah! I think when I go in on Thursday for my Sugarsweet Haul, then I will take a look at these and swatch a few to see what I like. I might not end up liking anything...

Girls, can you help me out? I have been going back and forth about getting any of these. I got none of the Sonic Chic blushes when they came out and none of these so far. Can anyone help me pick a color or 2? I am very warm, brunette/auburn hair, hazel eyes. Should I get one of the Sonic Chic blushes since a few are still on the site or the Grand Duo's? Or one of both?

I so want to go back for a bronzer for summer. My stinken' NC25 skin doesn't tan very well...so I need a bronzer for summer. And I'm getting drawn towards Hot Planet!!

I think Light Over Dark is the most bronzy out of the bunch.
